I can handle wiring and installations. I've pulled motors, built HID projector headlights for my Liberty CRD, did the timing belt job on my Liberty, and done all major repairs on all of my cars. That I am not worried about.
Its more a matter of if I want to. With two young kids and my wife and...
I am not seeing 30% anywhere. If they are its because they are tacking on incentives for financing, which at 8+% is costing more in a few months than the incentive is worth.
These are maybe a little over 20% off. The more expensive on is discounted less $ actually, so I am going to have to talk...
The two JTR's I am looking at are 7k different in MSRP. I THINK I could probably get them within $6000 out the door with the current incentives.
#1 has cloth seats, cold weather package, tow package and black 3 piece hard top.
#2 has leather, cold weather package, LED lighting, auxilary...
I am assuming its just an option to zoom in with the backup camera so you can see if the ball and coupler are lined up when backing to a trailer.
Probably something you could enable on your own with jscan or whatever.
Thats kind of what I was thinking. Just having the 3.0L probably means it already has the alternator and bigger cooling package.
Adding a hitch isn't a big deal and it already has the 4 and 7 pin connectors.
So I should have posted this to begin with, but on the EcoDiesel window stickers it only shows this:
The heavy duty cooling and 240 amp alternator dont show as add-ons.
Sorry if this has been asked before but, I am getting very close to pulling the trigger on a JTR Ecodiesel and the one I like(color and options) does not have the trailer tow package. I intend to tow with it. What exactly does that include on the Ecodiesel? Just the hitch and the camera zoom? I...
This is why I am looking so hard at possibly purchasing one of these. The prices are crazy. But I am really worried about all the reports of overheating towing so I am less enthusiastic now. I've already gone through that with my 2014 F150 and its been a real PITA.
If this second one fails I will move on and buy a CSF radiator. The Mishimoto core was just 10mm thicker so I went that way. I will say they were awesome about honoring the warranty and did not fight with me on it at all.
I have not heard of anyone else with Mishimoto failures on the F150's though.
New member here but was looking at JT EcoD's as a possible option to be a combined tow and offroad rig. I have a 2014 F150 Ecoboost now that tows ok but is just a monster on any trails.
Its a little disappointing to see that overheating is such an issue. I have battled the same thing with my...
