Yea, I was hoping to verify before removing the alt. Trying to figure out the trigger wire. Stop!
I just went and pulled the control wiring connector off the alternator. It only has one control wire. Must be the trigger. So verifying alt or PCM should be easy. Let ya know.
No Aux battery. Deleted that about a year ago. No problems till this.
When the battery light came on I disconnected all accessories from the electrical system, 2nd battery, winch, ARB compressor, switch pod, oil cooler fan, power steering cooler…etc. Trying to save “start” battery life.

I originally installed the Insane Diesel bypass system. That system used 1/8 ports with 3/8 hose. I was also told not to have more than 3’ of hose between the bypass filter and the tap port. The 1/8 port with less than 3’ hose, no loss of oil psi/flow will be noticed.

Tapped into the 2 ports bottom of factory oil filter housing...

42’s with 5.13’s. Just did a 300 mile loop thru central NM. Half highway/half Desert. Averaged 21.5 MPG. The JTRD weighs about 7K.
I was averaging 75/80 MPH on the highway portion of the trip. When I average less than 75mph I can get an extra mile or two MPG. 75MPH is about 2100RPM...
