  1. Show and Tell:Ecodiesel maximum towing capabilities

Heat is going to be the limiting factor. I added an oil bypass with cooler. I can keep oil temperatures down by 10* to 15*. The bad side is the emissions system does not like the lower temps. Lower speeds is the best fix. JT weighs about 7k. Trailer weighs about 4K.
  2. 3.0 Mystery Diesel Oil Leak

The breather on the rear axle, based on the pic. Oil on the driver side of engine could be from an oil filter change.
  3. Diesel cooling options and ideas

5 to 7k when using Redline. Less when using Penzoil.
  4. Diesel cooling options and ideas

Yes, still have the same setup. I would just run the Amsoil bypass filter housing as is without changing the hole size. The hole size does restrict flow. This last oil change I used the factory spec. Pennzoil. If oil temps are above *240 I loose about 3psi on the oil pressure gauge. This didn’t...

  9. Bought 2022 JTRD in OR and fails smog in CA

If the Test Station said it needs to complete a cycle to pass. I would think a discounted retest should be offered. What cycle needs to be completed? I would try to get the Tazer back from the dealer that took it out. Maybe your speedo is off causing a problem.
  10. Bought 2022 JTRD in OR and fails smog in CA

You should still have the warranty from Jeep. Think all manufacturers emissions warranty go for 7 years. Why did they take out the Tazer? The Tazer would have nothing to do with emissions/ECM. Maybe gear and tire ratios are off causing the problem?
  11. ¡Help! I’m in the CA Bay Area and every pump contains over 20% Biomass

All the 76 stations and 7-Elevens had R99 in the Bay Area when I lived there a few years back. Everything I’ve read on it says it’s better than #2. Way higher Cetane and it’s all fresh. Others on the forum have had great success with it. Would not do the B20.

Waiting on an EGR gasket. Computer said 12/14 delivery. When I originally took the JT in for recall appointment...

  17. Diesel cooling options and ideas

It’s been awhile. I need to update my ID bypass oil filter plus oil cooler experience posted earlier in this thread. The short Version….the ID part of the system has been removed and replaced with a universal Amsoil oil bypass system. The ID bypass oil filter housing would leak at the first...
