Fox 2.5s will be stiff compared to any monotube shock from what I understand. This has also been my first-hand experience but I prefer a stiffer ride than not. Maybe they can be tuned to be softer though. I got my Fox 2.5s from Accutune and went with the moderate option.
However, yes, the Fox...
I drove through there with some family back in Summer of 2013. We got out to stretch our legs on the side of the road and got hit with a fat, hot ass, dry wind. I never felt a penetrating heat like that in my life and I grew up in southern Louisiana
I run 36 psi cold for road trips. 32 for around town (softer ride, short trips typically)
If I commuted or drove on the highway often, I’d probably stick to 36
That would be one hell of a plot twist. I change my vote OP. I think RK Racing is on to something.
ORRRRR, if we combine our theories - your girlfriend is trying to blow you up. Tread softly my friend.
I’m with everyone else. I’d skip on this unless you can get the price down a few thousand. And DEFINITELY have a mechanic inspect it before any price talks.
I doubt there’s any drivetrain issues since the 3.6 and 8 speed are pretty stout. Better safe than sorry though. I’d be more worried about...
That sucks. I always parked outside at Park N Fly on JFK.
My old boss had his custom Honda S2000 stolen from a storage unit Houston. Cops didn’t help him either. Poor guy put well over $30k into that car
Hmm. I should probably know the height of my vehicle for when I go to Boston for shows, sporting events, etc.
Houston, Texas knows better than to have low ceiling garages so I never gave it much thought when I lived down there.
edit: measured 6’3”. I think I’ll be good just about anywhere...
I’ve had these for a couple of years now. No signs of rust yet.

I’ll say it’s a GREAT motor in general and a good one for the platform. I think the awesome ZF transmission makes it shine brighter than what it is at times though.
Approaching 50k miles and I put the pedal to the floor almost every time I drive it. Not a single problem.
