I used to have the gains written down but lost them. I can definitely say I gained more that 2.5” with the springs up front. Quite certain it was just over a 3” gain after the initial settle (2-3 weeks after install).
As far as settling after that initial stage, visually, I haven’t noticed...
I’m just here again to take back what I said about 40s looking dumb on JTs. I was young, dumb, weak, and scared…Now, I am enlightened. I want 40s some day ?
Sorry about your truck and your hometown of Nashville OP. I hate cities with a passion after living in Houston for 6 years. The place is a cesspool. I loved it for the same reasons you mentioned - multicultural food/people/workplaces, but gotdamn that place sucked….the traffic, the crime...
Wow. This may take the cake as the biggest head scratcher on the forum…at least that I’ve seen.
You’ve already had a lot of opinions and exhausted A LOT of options - coils, shocks, sway bar links, sway bar, track bar, etc….looks like you’ve replaced the entire suspension already which didn’t...
Same experience with mine. They’ve been flawless, particularly in heavy rain. A little over 20k miles on mine and they’re finally making some noise on the highway but nothing crazy.
You’re definitely gonna want 37s or to swap for the Clayton 2.5”. Im fairly certain that I’ve even seen folks with 40s on that Clayton 3.5” lift. It’s closer to a 4” lift in reality from what I’ve gathered.
Yea, I agree. I literally just heard it from a YouTube video the other day. I looked it up in disbelief and saw some stats saying the same. I’m skeptical that Alaska’s mountains weren’t included in their stats maybe but I don’t know.
The weather events on Mt Washington (and probably the...
I think you’re right, they did in 2022 models. Or at least this random one linked below did according to the VIN

Fun fact about OP’s state, New Hampshire - They get more snow there than any other state in the U.S. (including Alaska - 80 inches per year across the state)
New Hampshire gets 174 inches per year on average across the state.
Don’t be fooled though…the mountains in Alaska get like 500+ inches...
Yea the select trac and aux switches are the two things I really wish I had gotten from factory. Oh well. Maybe the LSD in my JT will help some vs having open diffs in the back.
Interesting. I was under the impression that these things do great in snow regardless of select trac vs command trac. Especially with wild peak tires.
I’ve only ever driven mine in light snow, just enough to turn the road white. It did really well on my Kenda Klevar AT tires (35s, 315mm wide)...
I don’t know how normal people are financing new cars these days lol. I’m mad at my $500 a month payment so I can’t even imagine close to $1,000 a month for a vehicle. Hell you could probably buy some decent land out in the sticks for that price.
Awesome pics. I’m definitely gonna be posting some New England/Canada snow pics to this thread soon. I’m surprised it’s not already filled with posts
