I'm with ya. I try and spend the money where I feel it's appropriate, like on good tools. I don't mind spending cash, maybe more than some, less than others, I just don't want to have garbage. I don't need a professional, $2000 torque wrench for being a weekend warrior, but I don't want to think...
My dad still uses his Sears, beam-type and so far has always seemed to work. We tossed it on a calibration rig once 20 years ago and it was pretty accurate. Think he paid $30 for it!
There is simply too much information out there. All I wanted to do was buy a 20-250lbs. range, American-made, 1/2 drive torque wrench. Down....down....down the rabbit hole I went. YouTube, Amazon, Google, various forums. Hours of reading, getting to the point where one seemed like a great...
Correct. I am OK with the whole grille being black (although, should have been satin black not shiny) but I hate that 3/4 of the surround is that same shiny black and not body color. Again, it's a small thing to complain about when I LOVE the rest of the Jeep, but just in the off chance FCA...
I tried for the last few weeks to just "get over it" but every time I walk by, it's like Austin Powers trying not to look at that mole! The grille and 3/4 of the "surround (called out in red arrows) are black. The natural line coming down from the hood is body color. You want than same line on...
I have zero faith in any of the Amazon reviews! I've had several reviews canned for unknown reasons. In each, I methodically went through every single word and even inflection, just to ensure that I didn't violate any of their rules (i.e., "feelings") and found nothing wrong. Bottom line: Amazon...
So far, I like the Nittos. They are quiet and seem to have plenty of lugs for the mud/snow when the time comes. It's a 315/70R17 - so almost a 35" tire. I had Duratracs on my last 2-Wranglers and loved them too. I would recommend them to anyone.
I did a lot of reading on the Nitto first and...
**ROOKIE MISTAKE** I found my problem! I went back underneath to double-check all of the bolt torques and found out I forgot to tighten the upper control arm to the frame on the passenger side. 100% my fault. Thank you to all who responded, I'll try and shuddup now for a while!!
I forgot to loosen the bolts on the axle and only loosened the frame ones. Didn’t realize until the lift was in. Think that could have something to do with it?
