Just about everywhere online I read how mud terrains are actually not a great tire to have when dealing with snow. However, I have a set of 35 in Patagonia MTs and I feel like I am getting really good performance in the snow. I know they are somewhat considered a hybrid. Those that are running...
Not for sure how long it was on there for but after having the top off for an extended period of time I go to put it back on and noticed bird poop on the passenger sun visor. It was small and already dried. Wiped off easy and I consider myself lucky it didn’t land on a seat, or worse...
Thanks! I like them a lot. Offset is -18. Running them with 35s with a 1.5” level kit on a sport and there is no rubbing whatsoever even when off-roading.
I live in Missouri so we will have multiple days of sunny weather during the summer and then all of a sudden rain will pop up without warning. During that season I leave the bolts on because I frequently am putting the doors on and pulling them back off. Come late fall and winter I put them back...
Somewhere on the forum there is a post about flipping the rear view mirror for better visibility and it tucks it out of the way. I did it and was happy with it. Also there are brackets you can buy to give yourself more leg room to slide back.
All that being said, I don’t think it is any...
Hey J.Noack! I don't want to be rude but if they guy above isn't interested in the bumper I might be. I got bogged down in a mud whole last night and two vehicles later finally got it unstuck at midnight so a winch just became a higher priority on my upgrades list. However my sport bumper needs...
Has anyone done a DIY version of DECKED’s truck bed drawer system? I have seen videos on YouTube of people making them for full size trucks but haven’t seen any for the Gladiators yet.
The DECKED ones look great but I’m looking to do something that is A) cheaper and B) a little more...
The windshield screws are up along the top of the windshield. There are 4 total and you might have to move the visor to access them. Usually if they are loose I can move them with my finger so that tells me I need to tighten them.
Here is a video for how to take down the windshield on a JL but...
Semi regularly I will have to re-tighten the windshield screws and the and the hard top screws below the freedom panels. There is a noticeable rattle before I tighten them. I’ve never had to tighten the back hard top screws.
Sometimes is happens with normal driving but most of the times it’s...
Got three in today from a recent trip and put them on the bottom right of the tail gate. Not sure how I feel about them there yet. Also would have helped if I did a little better lining them up.
That was one of places I thought about putting them but it looks like you could fit maybe 4 max and that would be a little tight. I’m hoping to get more than that by the time I’m done with my JT.
The badges look great with your color!
Pretty self explanatory thread. I just got three Jeep Badge of Honor badges and am trying to figure out where to put them. I’ve seen a bunch where they put them by the trail rated badge but thought about putting them in a row on the bottom of the tailgate.
Upload some photos of trail badges on...
I know a ton of people that have cut it to were the plastic still covers the fog lights but I just completely removed mine and haven’t looked back. Sure the fog lights are exposed but as soon as I removed it and saw how much mud and dust was in there even with the cover on I figured it wouldn’t...
Glad all of you were able to enjoy this story!
Sorry for not replying to every post but in summary. A) I did realize it wasn't a venomous snake, but in the moment that didn't matter too much. lol B) Burning it down and calling an Uber did cross my mind. C) Thanks for the compliments on getting...
