Well, I got my first “body damage” over the weekend. Had to make a tight turn around a fallen tree and cut it too short. This is behind the passenger rear door. Guess I should look into better side rails too. lol
any suggestions on how, and if, I could pop it out?
Also what about that chipped...
I came from a 98 Tacoma for last 20 years before I bought my JT. The gladiator is plush compared to it. I've had 10-12 hour days driving and it's fine. Zero complaints. I'm also glad it doesn't have a dead pedal. I feel it gives me more foot room. I can stretch that leg out without it falling...
So I went to check the codes to see which sensor was not working, front or back, and it came back as C1416-13. From what I can tell, that's the front. This is interesting because that's a newer front axle after I had it replaced with an Ultimate Dana 44 about 1.4 years ago.
Sometimes I hate...
so I got the "Service Axle Locker System" warning has come on randomly a few times this week. It pops up than disappears. Might be fine for a day or two then it will flash and go away. The locker icon will also pop up and disappear, though the lockers don't seem to engage. This only seemed to...

In my experience with Ridge Grapplers 35x12.5x17 on stock wheels on my Rubicon is that it will be fine. I would measure your tire before you calibrate the tire size in the system. I initially put it at 35" and the shift points were off and it rarely hit 8th, so I actually measured it and...
Like an ill-fitting glove. I had one when I got my JT back in 2020. There were no gladiator specific soft covers besides the factory one. At least affordable ones. At the time you could get one off Amazon for like $125. It mostly fit, and worked well for 3 years before I got the camper.
Me too. It's always charged and ready to rock-n-roll. There are probably better, even at the old price, but knowing me it wouldn't be charged whenever I wanted it and it would most likely be forgotten at home when I'm out and about.
Dealers always air them high. When I had my last oil change and rotation, they put them at 41. I went home and lowered them to 35psi. Felt like I was on skates.
I did run them at 32 for a bit but they felt sluggish.
E-rated Ridge Grapplers on stock wheels. I run them about 35psi on the road. In the colder mornings they sit around 32, but heat up to about 37. Seemed a good compromise.
definitely got a bad one out of the bunch. must've been made on a Monday after a weekend bender. I've had none of those issues after 4 years of ownership. not even the bubbling paint.

Started with this, a buddy with CHIRP programmed my baofeng to also have access to local emergency response signals like scanner to hear what might be going on. Installed a stronger radio on my truck, and had it CHIRP'd. Now use the handheld for spotting or share with someone who...
