I think the diesel springs are supposed to be stiffer for the added weight of the diesel motor. I added diesel springs to my gasser and it felt much stiffer/better. I don't bottom out at all, and I used to on the old springs. I should also add that my truck came with the OEM steel bumper too. I...
what do you mean by “digressive”?
also the Eibachs say they’re good up to a 2” lift. If I were to add a 2” lift later, would these still work?
Bounce and side-to-side. Squat is fine. Truck is level. I have the Hellwig rear anti-sway bar and that helps too. Just feels I’m on a boat sometimes and not as steady as I remember before the camper.
Glad I read this. I'm on the verge of getting new shocks and I would've gone with the 0-1.5 lift shocks, but this makes sense. Looking at the specs on the stock Fox shocks and the Bils, you seem to be correct. The Bils for a 0 lift, looks like you would be losing lift.
This is what I'm looking...
Same here. If it sputters, can always throw in a bigger motor. would still be cheaper than buying a whole new vehicle. the thing I like about this truck is that everything is essentially "upgradable".
Essentially.
I just did it the long way and opened up the line and bled out the old fluid. And when it got low, added the new fluid and bled it till it was clear again. seemed to work but took a long time. next time I'm just getting a large syringe and large bore needle and sucking it out. lol
This is what they recommended and use do it in-house.

I bought 12’ and cut it in half for the length you see. I then used a soldering iron to melt the holes. Once I made the holes, I went along and put in the first rivnut as a...
I'm at 37k miles, at about 30k miles they got really soft and would fade on steep driveways and a little chirp on occasion, and I thought it was pads too. I was going to replace the pads but they were like new still, so I bled the brake lines and all is right again, except for that occasional chirp.
I was hit last summer, and I had the same thought when my insurance company said I had to file a claim with the other guys insurance company. he had insurance but the very basic legal minimum. In the end my insurance came through and I got my truck fixed with a couple upgrades thrown in. total...
what's your time worth? If it works now, and the bugs have all been sorted... A new vehicle does not mean it won't have it's own issues, as you've already experienced. Did you buy it based on trade-in value later? Or did you buy it to use it?
