  1. Front/Rear Diff Service - DIY

Like I said, I believe after 2021 years, they removed the plugs.
  2. Front/Rear Diff Service - DIY

Yes, I am posiitve. It appears the JL/JT's of 2021+ had it removed.
  3. Front/Rear Diff Service - DIY

Interesting. The instructions above show both NEW cover gasket and NEW cover bolts. I want to do this the right way, but I'm also wondering if all of that is really needed since every tutorial I've seen to have watched shows them re-using both.
  4. Front/Rear Diff Service - DIY

Thanks. It seems some folks just use the brake cleaner on the diff cover VS inside the pumpkin. Not sure if it matters either way? I would assume to make sure all is dried and evaporated before placing new oil in. I was planning on using Valvoline Flex Fill 75W-90 Full Synthetic Gear Oil 1...
  5. Front/Rear Diff Service - DIY

Hey gang, After getting the courage to not just replace the main battery of my 22 JT Sport S - but also diving deeper under the main to get to othe aux and replace, it is about time to change the front/rear diff service as my JT is hitting 34k miles. The dealer who I have free oil changes for...
  6. Uconnect screen glitching out!

It actually wasn’t terrible following a YouTube guide. Took me about an hour going slow!
  7. Uconnect screen glitching out!

I installed a new main and aux battery - but I am wondering - are there any NEGATIVE issues that could arise if I keep the aux battery bypass mod in place? Could it void any remaining warranties if I take the JT into the dealer?
  8. Uconnect screen glitching out!

    It’s toast.
  9. Uconnect 7 to 8.4.... So many

Honestly - nothing. Thus why I’ll probably stick with another 7 if I can’t fix mine.
  10. Uconnect 7 to 8.4.... So many

Well I also decided to buy a new main and aux battery as my JT is over 3 years old and I had that error code last week. Felt good to do it at home in my own garage. It didn’t fix the screen issue but I didn’t think it would. shout out to the [Banned Site] Jeep channel as his instructions were...
  11. Uconnect 7 to 8.4.... So many

Well I took the bypass cables off and plugged them back to where they house in the underside of the steering wheel/foot area. And yes - I tried holing the radio power and the tuner buttons together for 30sec but the radio doesn't reset. The screen never turns off and on again... Here is how...
  12. Uconnect 7 to 8.4.... So many

Interesting. I clearly have the 7inch screen but don't use Tazer (I use JSCAN). I don't leave the OBDII reader in all of the time, but I do have the bypass cables hanging in their as its sort of a PITA to get to them everytime I need to use the reader. Wonder if that could be causing an...
  13. Uconnect 7 to 8.4.... So many

Will do. I’m actually of thinking of just replacing it with another 7in just to make it easy.
  14. Uconnect 7 to 8.4.... So many

Well it looks like my 7inch Uconnect radio/display is trashed and am looking to replace with a 7 again, or upgrade to the 8.4. I am just a FEW months out of the 3 year warrarnty (yet under 36k miles). Looking at some youtube videos, it looks like going from a 7 to 8.4 on JT (2022) appears to...
  15. Uconnect screen glitching out!

Well for kicks I did the "aux battery" delete - and my Jeep starts with the sole main battery. The screen is still jacked...so I believe I am out of luck there. Wonder if this is the time to upgrade to an 8.4....
  16. Uconnect screen glitching out!

The radio reset doesn't work when I try it. In fact, when I selecte "screen off" on the controls on the dash, the screen actually doesn't turn off...
  17. Uconnect screen glitching out!

do you think if I pulled the aux and just left the main battery that it could fix the start/stop issue? Or just get a new main battery and call it good?
  18. Uconnect screen glitching out!

Do you guys think this could be the issue with the screen?
