- I guess the disconnect from our arguments is that you believe the manufacturing company should have inventory for dealers in stock - even though the caps are made to order, just like most caps are.
- Again, I think it also depends on your local dealer. Like I mentioned, mine was a great...
I'm also not sure what the point of this thread is....
I can understand the lack of a sold "contact us" number - but when you order a bed topper - you don't order solely through the manufacturer, you go through a dealer. (Sort of like buying a Jeep...)
But here's the thing - it seems like...
I understand the concept of larger tires with a lower gear ratio - but this statement is very individualized.
People need to remember when upgrading to 35s or a larger tire with 3.73 gearing:
- Where are you located? Mountains? Flat land? Sea level? Etc
- What Brand tire, and what size of...
Here's my honest opinion:
I purchased my JT in 2022 (22 Sport S) and wanted bigger tires, but it was also my DD.
I decided to go with 33s (285/70/17) while also adding a front TF 1.5 Level.
It drove fine, and nothing was wrong with it - but watching other Jeeps with larger tires made me a...
I have the string trimmer (on the M18 line with my other tools) and have no issues with it. Sure, maybe it's a bit heavy - but I do use the 12.0 HD battery with it. Plus, it's nice with the quick lok feature to switch out the trimmer for the edger.
I recommend it.
DIdn't end up with any just yet... was gonna order and go with the Toyo's AT3 but....
my wife's 2021 Grand Cherokee L (which has been PERFECT and super reliable thus far at 30k - just literally got out of the warranty period) threw a P000A code - along with an accidental breaking of her center...
I've narrowed my choices down to:
Toyo Open County At3 35x12.5x17 (59#'s)
BFG KO2 37x12.5x17 (64#).
The BFG are smaller for a 37 and not much more weight wise - and it seems those with the 3.73 don't have that much of a difference compared to driving with 35s.
I do live in WI - so I'd prefer...
Okay I've decided on either 37's BFG Ko2 35x12.5x17 or 35's Toyo Open Country AT3 35x12.5x17 with 3.73.
This thread gives me some hope that the lighter weight BFGs would still be okay with the 3.73.
