What is the best way to Torque a degree?
103 Ft Lbs + 145° (REF 230-250 Ft Lbs)
Do I take the torque wrench and set it at 103# and then... take a breaker bar and move the bolt an additoinal 145 degrees?
Also... Why are Torque values so different. A lot of members here say their LCAs are...
Thanks.
I mean - here's the thing.
The Jeep was perfectly fine driving before the 2.5 lift was installed.
After the lift was installed, the "wobble" started to happen after hitting a slight bump on the highway.
Anything is possible... But I'm assuming it has to be related to the new parts...
It has been a while - like since I bought the Jeep and put on my 33s.... But the stretch of road that I went on today that caused that "death wobble" I've been on hundreds of times going over that same stretch of bump with no issues...... this has only occured after my lift was installed...

Teraflex says to torque the front adjustable track bar to 52Ft Lbs + 155° (REF: 200 Ft Lbs).
I found the MOPAR lift torque specs and the track bar is to only 110Lbs.
Confused.
After 2 years with my JT Sport S - I finally pulled the trigger on a 2.5 lift.
Specifically - Teraflex 2.5 spacer lift. I also got the Teraflex front/rear adjustable track bar AND Teraflex front lower control arms. Also Bilstein 5100s front and back.
The lift was installed at a reputable 4x4...
As much as I would have loved to saved money compared to the $4k I spent on my topper - I just couldn't buy something that likely comes without any sort of manufacturer support/parts/help.
Understandable.
The roof rack as an add on was one of the most expensive accessories. That and the fact that we haul kayaks during the summer - and just hauled 4 skis/snowboards on a recent getaway - it made sense.
But otherwise I highly recommends the Venturous cap.
Thanks for all of the replies.
Today - I punched the trigger on the Teraflex 2.5 spacer lift - along with the Teraflex lower control arms, and front/rear track bars - AND billstein 5100s for the rear (I had them up front after my TF 1.5 level a year or so ago).
Installation is NEXT Monday...
The only thing that I can't wrap my head around is - the folks who designed the JT, the suspension, and the MOPAR lift - WHY did they not include parts to correct geometry?
Part of me just wants to put a simple 2.5 spacer lift on and call it good.
But then the other part of me knows that...
Thanks for the reply. My vision is selfishly for more looks rather then rock crawling. My JT is my DD and I plan on keeping it until the frame rusts out!
2022 JT Sport S (3.73 auto)
Wants: 2-2.5 lift for aesthetics and eventual 34s/35s.
Choices:
Mopar Lift: I can buy off quadratefc of BAM auto for $1700-1800 plus another $750 for install.
Pro's: MOPAR parts, dealer install/maintain dealer relationship.
Con's: Incomplete lift - no front/rear...
You can say that again. It looks like some big infected zit on the back of the Gladiator. Interesting idea... horrible design AND price.
Back to the OP - I'm sure any topper could fit a few bikes in the back of truck. It's just - what kind of topper brand do you want and how much do you...

$6000 for a bloated looking truck cap? Hellllllll no.
