I go by the book. The following post is a summary of service interval info in two versions of the owner's manual, as well as the intervals mentioned earlier in this and other motor oil threads.
Motor Oil & Oil Filter Service Intervals
As you know, some are satisfied with a single pan drop. Others are satisfied with 90%+ replaced. If switching to aftermarket ATF (not ZF-approved), closer to 99% replaced is better. The amount of old ATF replaced diminishes rapidly, especially after 90%.

Doing a pan drop soon? usp motorsports is giving FCP EURO a run for its money. The market price of ZF LifeguardFluid 9 has dropped by 24% since Dec 2024.

It appears that the decoupler pulley on the alternator is not available as an individual part on the MOPAR eStore. Long story short, a dealer will replace the alternator with a new & expensive OEM alternator instead of repairing the existing one.
As already covered by @darkhorse13, the...
Updated my description from "alternator" to "alternator pulley" to be crystal clear. Didn't know I had to be so specific. I will also update the testing comments in my post to meet the elusive forum specifications.
It would be on it's way out because the line of oil in my picture looks just...
This pic of an oil leak was taken in the evening on December 30th. Because my selling dealer is a "Warranty Forever" participant (covers power train w/ no deductible), I brought my vehicle to their service department at 7:00 a.m. on New Year's Eve. It was a VERY slow day for them. The only...
This also applies to the reply from Maximus Gladius.
Drop-off: New Year's Eve (for other, warranty repairs)
Work started: Yesterday (Mon 1/5)
Engine temperature: Stone cold
Pick-up: Today
Not worried about the extra quart, if it was indeed "extra". He only charged me for an hour of labor...
Thanks for the guidance and the quick reply. I could have called him on it, but he only charged me for one hour of labor. I'd rather keep this deal in play, if there is a next time, than quibble about a quart or two.
Lesson learned is always check the number of quarts (six or seven).
Question: Did the dealer pad the number of quarts? (Are too many quarts listed on the invoice?)
I just had a pan drop done at my selling dealer. They used genuine MOPAR parts and not BG substitutes.
Everything on the invoice looks good except the volume of ATF (8 quarts). Is this out of...

The torque for the plastic oil filter housing cap is 18 ft-lbs. Any tighter and there's a risk of cracking the plastic cap and/or housing.
For the oil pan drain plug, the torque is 20...
Although it is reusable, the K&N oiled cotton engine air filter has an implied warranty (product-replacement or money-back) and nothing more. The title of every subsection of the warranty page is in LARGE-BOLD-ALL-CAPS. This is arguably a way to deter someone from reading the warranty. Not to...
I agree that everything is collected. Data sharing can be managed. I spent more than a year doing opt outs, security freezes, and other identity protection stuff. The only gaps are 1) my junk email account, that I share with new accounts using Gmail plus-addressing, and 2) an occasional text...
None here. I opted out earlier this year, but I bought my Gladiator six years ago so that can't be the reason. I haven't subscribed to satellite radio or any other service offered by Stellantis. I do carry a 25-year old Rand McNally behind the rear seat.
This Thexton socket worked like a charm. VERY snug fit to prevent movement while being rotated. Needs to be centered & seated to ensure torque is applied to axis of rotation. Apply SILICONE spray lubricant (not WD-40) into drain and around draincock seam. Some turning back-and-forth may be...
