Thank you for confirming. I do have the factory inverter (115V) between the rear seats and there seems to be a neat little plastic āpop inā fascia piece right below my light switches where the 115V bed on/off switch would go which is intriguing.
Iāll DM you my VIN if that works? Thanks so much.
Yeah I have panels on both sides of the rear bed on my 2026 Sport S JT. Pictures below, ex use the dust. Like other folks pointed out one is on top of the spray on bedliner and the smaller square one is underneath.
Totally counts! A good supply of shredded cheese is one of lifeās essentials anyway.
At least my wife appreciates how busy I am on my āhome daysā. LOL
Cheers to Beer:Thirty! š»
Funny story, the days I work from home are my busiest for chores and shit and are totally exhausting. Itās nice to go back in to the office for a break. š¤£
Not a doctor, but I donāt think 3 weeks is that long for a broken rib to heal. š¤£
I have a āloose ribā that likes to pop out every so often when I get too active or sleep wrong. Then it prongs my chest and makes my heart do funny things if I donāt get it popped back in. So contortions arenāt my...
Good point on the switch, although I doubt Iād use them often as Iām not too sure on the legality up here. š¤ Also Gladys is stock and not lifted which helps with the wanderlust a bit.
The contortions needed are partly what make me hesitate. Iām 6ā2 with back issues and Iām still feeling the effects of the running board install I did last Saturday. š
Makes sense to mess with the panel instead of the dash, and Iām the same on enjoying mods looking like stock.
I have an unreasonable fear of messing with the electrics / wiring, but it does look do-able I agree. You have me intrigued. Iāll think about it when I get the Midland.
Excellent writeup, thank you for sharing. Donāt think Iām brave enough to undertake anything that complex looking myself, but love to see other peopleās work for something to aspire to!
