Doubt it but you don't need to close the tail gate. The tailgate won't hold your bike in, that's what the straps are for.
My old truck with a 6.5' bed I always had the tailgate down when transporting my Ducati Monster
That aligns to what I heard from the Jeep helpdesk.
I have a VIN for my 2022 Gladiator, so I contacted Jeep corporate for a status update on the build. They let me know that no 2022's have started as they are still building 21's. That rep told me to check back around the end of November.

I had a Fiesta ST and have had a bunch of "cool" cars since it. My Fiesta was def my favorite car I've ever owned. More than than my previous Mustang, S2000 (close though), and M2.
Hold on to that one!
Also new Broncos look amazing. I would have gotten one over a Wrangler. Ultimately the...
If you are near Virginia I had great luck ordering mine from Erik at CMA Valley Jeep in Staunton Va. Great guy, would highly recommend. I'm getting a price that I thought I'd have to fly to TN to get for ordering it.
His email is [email protected]
Staunton is also kind of a neat town...
Hey question for you other orderers - did you guys put a deposit down?
My sales rep did not ask for that, and when I asked if I needed to he said no he trusts me. Is this so he can play some price games later or something? I did all my negotiation already, got it in email.
When I built my M2 I...
Based on the manual and the thing about 2001 cars and newer the Gladiator is fine with e15.
Also where I come from (the mustang forum) we love that sweet sweet corn juice. A tune for e85 on the mustangs 5.0 would do some truly magical things for power. Of course you were getting like half the...
Down here in Virginia Valley CMA Jeep in Staunton essentially matched Gupton when I presented them my offer at 6% under invoice +$500 off for consumer cash. Super easy to work with too, highly recommend. I'll ask my sales rep if he's cool with me sharing his contact info.
Edit, feel free to...
Okay rereading this, for us interested in ordering a 2022 we can get up to 6% right now (1% for financing + 5% just from them).
And there is a chance the affiliate program might come back for another 1%, bringing the max to 7% IF (or when) that affiliate tread lightly program starts again.
I...
For us prospective buyers is this the difference between 8% and 7% off invoice?
Or is the difference between 8% off and no deal at all?
I'm planning on building & ordering one. Gupton is high on the list thanks to this forum, though I'll give the local dealers the chance to price match.
