Exactly. I buy a lot of high end collectibles that sometimes take 2-3 yrs to come so I'm cool with waiting if I know I'm going to be waiting. I don't want to cancel the order now, but I need a solution for my trip and now $900 is just in limbo because I thought they were about to ship. I'll wait...
I don't like that nowhere on the Betstop item page does it even say they don't have them or that there is that long of a wait and Quadratec still says shipping July 2nd.
I'm curious too. Quadratec says preorders start shipping July 2. I just want to know if I'll have it with enough time to install for my July 17th vacation I bought it for.
Man, that sucks. My family vacation is in Wildwood from June 21-24th so I'm just going to miss it. I'll just take my BMW to the beach instead of the Gladiator so I don't feel so bad about missing out.
Very nice.
I actually weighed out a used X5M vs the Gladiator before finally settling on the Gladiator for the convertible aspect / cost of maintenance.
I wish. I had it plastidipped frozen blue. It's back to factory white now. It's an e93. I have a thing for convertibles which is why I bought the Gladiator to go with the M. I had a E46 M3 before the E93. I still miss that car.
Edit: I also had it done in charcoal and teal once as well. Finally...
UConnect 5 looks like it will have wireless carplay

I don't get what you're saying about rights vs. privilege . Last I checked we still need a license to drive that requires passing a test. It does not require a test to be a passenger though which is what automated vehicles would provide. They'd be no different than busses other than the fact...
I disagree. The big picture is less traffic, less driver error causing accidents, less polution, etc. Sure there will be accidents from time to time, but it will pale in comparison to the daily accidents I see now due to people driving distracted.
I do a short span of 695 daily and even that drives me nuts. Northern VA is a whole other level of awfulness when it comes to construction. I hit a 1 hour delay at 3am once. It never makes any sense.
Built in navigation, off road pages, HD radio capability, and it's a lot easier to handle things like text messages on.
Also SiriusXM Guardian is pretty cool. Start, unlock, track your truck from your phone.
Funny thing is, if everyone had a self driving car then there would probably be no accidents or traffic. If all of the vehicles could talk to each other it would just be seamless driving everywhere.
Exactly. All of the tech combined with the convertible aspect AND a truck bed was the reason I decided to take on a new car payment and buy a Gladiator. A lot of this new tech is actually saving lives. Most accidents are caused by crappy drivers, not technology.
I actually agree there. I've just as easily forgotten my key when exiting my BMW as I have in my Gladiator. Even with the little key slot in the BMW I forget it sometimes by just being careless. When I don't have it in my pocket it has slid out of my pocket and under my seat before I've even...
