Still waiting on my Supertop for Truck 2 to be delivered, ordered on April 26th and after speaking with Bestop today they told me they are expecting a delivery at the beginning of July and delivery within 2 weeks
So much for having the cargo capacity I need for my summer trips planned 2 months ago!

Y'all need to zoom out and keep in mind, they probably aren't in control of any single situation that's delaying shipping, launches, or fulfillment. Most of the world has returned to normal, but manufacturing is far from it.... I work in an ammo plant, and we're still getting stocked out of packing material, raw metal, you name it.
All that, on top of labor. Whether its at a cut & sew facility, their warehouse, or the shipping ports, they are probably running on basically a skeleton crew; nobody wants to come to work and get paid anymore. They are probably not going to come to a public forum and list their woes as an apology or excuse, but I'd be fairly confident that they're not a small mismanaged company like would normally string out fulfillment and shipping after taking money..

Pretty sure most of us understand all of that (I work in HR so believe me, I know how hard it is to hire). I'm not saying they are doing anything wrong, but it still sucks regardless.

Same here...though oddly they cancelled my original order and I had to reorder and then call to get added back into the queue (so fingers crossed I'm not on the bottom of the list after waiting a couple months for it already).

Here's a silly question, Can this be installed "backwards"?
If the tailgate window opens, but the forward one doesn't, is there an opportunity to mount it reversed, leaving the front open to the cab and the back closed? (access still available through tailgate I suppose)

Interesting idea. I imagine the support structure of the frame might be compromised by turning it around backwards.

I don't see how. The entire thing is contained on a clamp on rectangle and is more or less symmetric when up. Unless enough air can get in through the removable window to make it a giant parachute, I don't think any damage could happen.

The side panels wouldn't be rainproof anymore, since you'd have the open ends facing forward and driving 70MPH through a rainstorm would force water through the seams.

It's also make the bed pretty useless for large items, since anything would have to be tailgate-height to load/unload and you'd have to crawl into the bed to get anything out of the back.

I have the same question. Based on the Bestop mounting on top of the bed rails, I believe any rack would potentially interfere with the seal. Would love to see if there are some rack feet that are slim enough to fit under the Bestop mounting rails.

Except that you are taking a structure designed to fold forward (towards the cab), and turning it around backwards...so any wind pressure is now pushing against a system designed to collapse in that same direction. Maybe it would be fine, but I'd need to see the system up close before I'd be comfortable saying such.
