Best Soft Bed Topper - Supertops Bestop, Softopper, Fas-top Solo

Hello All,

planning to pickup a soft rear top to use when camping and for road trips. Between uses I’d likely remove it.
Any feedback on one over the other?
I’d like the highest and widest interior for camping.
Simplest removal and folding down.
I take my dirt bike a lot and would like to be able to have the front tire against the rear of the box from about 10”-14” above the floor. Would any of these toppers work with that?

Ill remove the bike at night and sleep in the back. Any suggestions on mattresses or extensions to cover the tailgate area when down for camping? I’d love so,etching made of a heavier material like the top itself.

I can only speak to the bestop one. Its good for what it is and is sturdy as heck. I’ve used it for a bunch of camping trips this last year and its been super handy. No water problems or anything on longer trips.

I only put it on for trips, the it comes off and is stowed for a couple weeks until we’re out and about again.

Im not super sure the mounting hardware will last thougj. Theyre sturdy and hold great, but the aluminum just seems like the threads will strip after another season of on and off. Time will tell as they have zero signs of problems so far.

I am ready to buy a soft top but do not like the idea of paying $1,300 to be on a waiting list without an idea of when I might possibly get the product. Sounds like a shade Jeep dealership kind of thing. Just saying how it makes me feel about the product.

Is that the lead time your being quoted? Which brand, where are you buying from?
