I had their topper on my Dodge 2500 Longbed - I loved it - great with pets and various hauling - out of the way for taller items. Material lasted +10 years -
Dont have a freedom top but believe those are to protect the panels when you put them in the bag. One goes on the end of each side with the panels stacked than slide them into the bag. Someone will correct if I am wrong.
We got ours (plural) at Offroad Elements - Not like there are many distributors for them. When I spoke to OE they had just placed another order to Zautomotive as they are quite popular. Mine won't be here til Monday - so use to 2 day delivery feels like forever. Ordered on Monday so 7 days.
Soft top for me - Having had many jeeps - and hardtops - I don't need another hard top to store and I bought the Gladiator because its a drop top. Freedom top doesnt do it for me -

as noted - you can always use the handle but if fob isn't nearby the alarm sounds. What I learned out of it though - Tailgate stays locked. unless fob is near -
Has anyone noticed that the Unlock interior doesn't work if jeep isn't powered on or key fob isn't nearby? Walked out to Glad to grab something out of back seat - Reached in through window and it wouldn't unlock - I like this feature just didn't expect it.
Like most as we evolve the Glad for what we want - Crank window doors as a alternative - wouldn't be bad - If you take doors off regularly it makes perfect sense.
I look at it as when I built my house - never enough outlets / power supplies - if I can have them pre canned in my build and integrated - Winner. Extra lights, other 12 volt accessories, No need to cut modify or route through a dashboard or wiring harness. I will have an extra set lights...
