I am pretty sure that is your only option. The wheel lug openings are fairly small and a hex lug nut will not work. ETA I see in the link posted above they make a hex drive nut that is smaller so perhaps that will work.

I put take-off Rubicon sliders on mine. IMO you don't need much more unless you're doing moderate to serious rock crawling. They're strong enough to ride up and over a rock, I've done it. But I don't think they'd take a ton of abuse. For typical overlander use, they're fine.

A pretty long run for any dog. It took me a couple years but I eventually got another doggo for a replacement.

I have the Apex 12K synthetic rope, seems pretty well built. I did have to drag myself out of a mud hole with it, worked fine.

Yeah it’s a mid size truck but put it offroad with any of the ones you’ve mentioned and there’s no comparison. It fits a bit of a different niche.

Excessive zinc also causes sludge. There’s a movement to zinc free AW packages in larger hydraulic systems for that very reason. Not saying it’s going to happen to you, or that you don’t benefit from a higher zinc content.. just something to think about. People definitely should not be adding...
