  1. Gun guys (and gals)

I've been shooting various disciplines for a couple decades, all different kinds of firearms etc. Currently my "main thing" is competition shooting, I am a USPSA Carry Optics Master. The round count on my Shadow 2 is just over 50,000, but it's semi-retired in favor of an M&P now. I don't...
  2. Mopar Unveils Festive "Ugly Sweater" Trail Armor

Which means they will sell plenty to the "I love gaudy stuff on my Jeep" crowd.
  3. Cooling fan trick

It may or may not come on with the AC. Usually the fan will get a command to come on when the high side pressure rises to a certain threshold, if you are going down the road with airflow to the condenser then it might never come on. Also this is just a general guess as I do not know the...
  4. Cooling fan trick

On IG? What is your handle?
  5. You'll like this. Paint correction and polishing results with ceramic wax!

If you’re using the Meguiar’s ceramic sealant then the black light is redundant, so you don’t need it no. I’m not really a fan of CG products. They’re expensive for what they are, and most consumers can buy just about anything I can. The wax you’re using is fine. I prefer a spray on/wipe off...
  6. You'll like this. Paint correction and polishing results with ceramic wax!

That is a sealant, not a polish. So it’s filling in the marring left behind, not actually removing it. The average person may not be able to tell or even see it, or they might not even be picky enough to care… so it doesn’t really matter, it’s just a cautionary tale for people who might try to...
  7. Ouray Day 4

Oh yeah I know. One of these years I'll have enough employees to cover for me for a week so I can go. Late September may be feasible next year. I'm going to see if there's a way I can squeeze 8-9 days off.
  8. Ouray Day 4

Beautiful photos. I really would love to go to the Alpine Loop. It's tough being self employed, I can't really go anywhere for any length of time except in the winter, when it's closed.
  9. Meet my '23 Sport S.

Aaaaaand a trash bag. Does that count as a mod? 🤨
  10. Meet my '23 Sport S.

Added load bars and a tent. KB VooDoo Fabrication VRS bed rail system with 1.5" tent risers. OVS TMBK tent. It was on sale and cheap, and does the job while not being too big and heavy. I also added some tool mounts and quick fists to the bed rails.
  11. Meet my '23 Sport S.

Don't get onto the forums a whole lot, but I've added a few more items. Ditch light mounts from Amazon. I mainly chose these because they are small and unobtrusive. Not a fan of overly gaudy bolt-ons. Baja Designs Squadron Sport Spot/Flood combo, for a $230 pair of lights they are...
  12. Sport S vs Rubicon

The Sport S is a very capable rig, with the front links unbolted and BLDs and the LSD it has taken me through some things I didn't think I'd ever get through, and I think there's a lot more in it. A lift is easy enough to install and most people do that even on the Rubicons. Yeah, there are...
  13. Cooling fan trick

The temps are fine. This whole "200-220 is too hot" sentiment needs to die. It isn't too hot. Modern vehicles seldom run at 180 now.
  14. You'll like this. Paint correction and polishing results with ceramic wax!

I do not recommend 105 if you're not going to follow it up with a polish like 205 or 210. Under proper sunlight there's almost certainly micromarring that you've installed using 105 and any pad. Especially on a black vehicle. And while it does degrade while you're working it.. It's still...
  15. Wisconsin WTB - JT Rubicon fender set.

Looking for a set of Rubicon takeoff fenders(not chopped). Must be painted, and must be white. Good to fair condition is preferred. Not interested in broken or "repairable" fenders. Prefer that the LED units are included in the front, but not required. Pick up only, with cash delivered...
  16. Fifteen52 Wheels

little bit, not a lot. 1” or so. 34s currently.
  17. Fifteen52 Wheels

Thanks! ET0. lots of pics on my instagram. white.knight.jt If you don’t have IG let me know and I’ll throw up some additional pics here.
  18. Coolant Temperature

    Normal operating range, non issue.
  19. !!!NEW Product!!! Quake Led FLUSH Taillights are live! Featuring B.A.S.S. Technology - QMT1538

Yeah, next to all the other gaudy and tacky stuff Jeep people love to adorn their rides with.
  20. Noise problem

I sprayed mine down as well. I "think" it might have helped. I'll need to find some bumps to verify. Also it was pretty warm today which seems to lesssen the isssue as well.
