  1. TPMS question.

I'm going to haul my new wheels over to Discount Tire in the next week or two and have them mount up tires. I haven't made a final decision yet, but I am leaning towards leaving the TPMS sensors in my OEM wheels and keeping that set for the winter. Are "aftermarket" TPMS sensors good to go? I...
  2. Narrowed down to 3 tire choices. Which?

I think I’ve got it narrowed down to: 255/85 Baja Boss 285/75 Open Country AT3 Leaning the latter. As my wife says…. Make a damn decision :CWL:
  3. Narrowed down to 3 tire choices. Which?

Thanks. I may need to consider these tires. I am not a huge fan of the really narrow look however that would bother me a lot less than being tucked in which doesn’t look like it will be an issue with the wheels I have. Yeah yeah I know function over form, aesthetics matter too. Get both:)
  4. Narrowed down to 3 tire choices. Which?

Thanks. 37 = 1.46” so that seems about right with the spacers. First or Last pic would be just fine for me, just don’t want half the tire sticking out. Appreciate the responses, I know this is the 456,458th “what tire” thread and it gets old. But tires are expensive and I’m trying to make...
  5. Narrowed down to 3 tire choices. Which?

Understood. Thanks. I’ve looked at a number of JT setups with the same wheel and they don’t look too obnoxious so I think I’ll be ok.
  6. Narrowed down to 3 tire choices. Which?

    Looks pretty good, size?
  7. Narrowed down to 3 tire choices. Which?

That’s my understanding based on my emails with the guy at fifteen52. Slight amount of poke which is what I’m after, just not a lot.
  8. Narrowed down to 3 tire choices. Which?

Appreciate the responses, a while back I was interested in the Baja Boss in 255/85 but don’t want a tucked in look, and I don’t really know what they would like with the wheels I bought which are a 0 offset. I’ve axed the Nitto based on the replies here and will also look at the A/T variants of...
  9. Narrowed down to 3 tire choices. Which?

285/75/17 tires going on Fifteen52 Turbomac HD classics. These are the 3 I've narrowed it down to. They are all "similar" in price($345 to $388 price spread) and size (33.8 to 34.1") Use will be mostly onroad, some camping, occasional overlanding, light crawling/parks etc. The finalists...
  10. Not what I meant when I said I could go for a T-bone..........

It's a 2020 Sport according to the OP's profile.... Chances are better than not that it's totaled. Sure, it's a guess, but it's a pretty good one.
  11. leveling kit and alignment

This is my experience. I had to make a bit of an adjustment to the drag link, and that was it. Drives/tracks the same as it did before leveling.
  12. Trading in my 2021 Rubicon for new 2023 Max Tow

Rubicon take-off rails are all over Facebook for virtually nothing. I got a like-new set for $80 and I've seen them as low as $50.
  13. Torn Between 315/70R17 or 35x11.5x17

Thanks. I should have read the replies before asking. Shame!
  14. Torn Between 315/70R17 or 35x11.5x17

Looks good. 11.5 or 12.5 wide?
  15. New York Kbvoodoo Pro rack with 83L Roam storage bin with mounting kit $900 (1st edition steel)

Pro-X crossbars are extruded aluminum. Those are clearly steel.
  16. Putting rear springs on front

I am not speaking from experience but most people say that they do have a firmer ride. Shocks also have something to do with it as they are definitely stiffer than the sport shocks.
  17. Putting rear springs on front

Won't work. The springs are different diameters front to back and won't fit the spring perches properly. If you want to upgrade, find some takeoff Rubicon Springs, they are all over the place for dirt cheap.
  18. New Jersey sold

No it doesn't. FedEx just delivered 4 wheels to me today in loose boxes just like that.
  19. Front end...."clunking" noise

To add to this, I had the same issue after installing my leveling kit. The occasional clunk was coming from the right side somewhere. I re-torqued all of the control arm and shock bolts, and the noise disappeared.
  20. New Rack System - Sneak Preview

Won’t fit. Nearly 2.5” too wide and that is measured at the rear where the width is the narrowest(the Tyger cover rails spacing tapers from front to back). I suspect most roll up covers won’t work at the stated width requirement. I’ll have to ditch my cover or look for an alternative.
