And now the aftermath of the trip. A ton of mud and I bent the rear sway bar link. The great thing with breaking parts is you get new & improved versions. Now I have a rear sway bar disconnect to go with my lockers & front sway bar disconnect! :like:
Good to know! I love lookouts but I would want some other features to make a trip worthwhile. Do you have other favorite spots that are close by? Or is Rock Front your favorite?
I'm behind on videos so it was from that big storm in late April.
Have you gone in the Poso area? Its close by. I think that might be our next trip in the area.
He digs it. I was surprised that it stayed together on those trails. I was impressed. He got it used in Arizona as a repossession for like $12k. He had to fix a few things up, but the bones were good.
I wanted to share pictures and videos from my recent trip to Los Padres National Forest east of Santa Maria, CA. The secluded spot turned out to be a perfect location for my buddy in Orange County and myself from the North Bay to meet halfway. Rock Front OHV has a number of easy greens to...
I am surprised that there hasn't been more posts on these 1/24th scale Gladiators. I got mine a couple weeks ago and have had a blast. They're small enough to fool around with inside and crawl on legos, but tough enough to take outside in the dirt. My sons and I have been getting non-stop...
Final recap of our trip to the Rubicon Trail and damage assessment of my Jeep. A surprising look underneath the Jeep. The results definitely would've been different if it wasnt for my spotters. Jeeps are just so capable its ridiculous. Even longer wheelbase ones
The 5th video of the series is us night wheeling from Buck Island to the Springs. It's a fun one even though a wrong turn gets some of us wet... really wet. Makes for good entertainment and adventure at the least. Enjoy!
Part 4 of the series has us moving on from the water after the early rain/snow through many obstacles, Indian Trail, and more water crossing on our way Buck Island. The Rubicon Trail's natural beauty rivals any trail out there and catching the sunset was a sight to see. That being said we get...
Crap forgot to post Vid #3 on here! This video of the series has us moving on from Soup Bowl and making our way through a number of water crossings and the V-notch aka the Squeeze. The Rubicon Trail's natural beauty rivals any trail out there.
Just finished the 2nd video in the series! The soup bowl is something else. The buggies/crawlers get after the obstacle and even my Gladiator gets in on the fun. Here's the vid:
Yeah depends on who you go with and how much experience you have. Plus don't be afraid to stack rocks!
Hey I am in Santa Rosa too! You should come up with our crew to Cow or Mendo NF.
