  1. What’s worn out faster than you expected?

17000 miles, and I'm having to get my front axle replaced because all of its important mission goo went splatter everywhere. Why? No reason that they've been able to tell me. And I didn't go wheeling at all, in winter, in Anchorage. I just noticed when I went under my vehicle to take off my...
  2. Kickpanel trim after ArmorLite install

Not just tightly in there, but centered. If the plug is centered, through and through, everything about your install should fall into place like a key into a lock. You might also want to look and see if any of the attachment points on the back of the floor trim are seating correctly. It took...
  3. Kickpanel trim after ArmorLite install

When you placed the plug, was it perfectly centered? I ask, because it took me hours to try to force everything into place just so to get it lined up. When I did, everything locked into place perfectly.
  4. Exchanging 2024 JTM springs for JTMX springs. What do I need besides springs?

Since I'm going to have limited time off after this hitch, I elected to have a trusted friend who is a certified Mopar mechanic install the front springs and isolators. Only $250. I'll report how it feels with everything on afterward.

  7. Jeeps Parking Next To Jeeps

You are a brave individual for both parking AND shopping there. Also, is it sad that I know that truck and dog, too? How is it that we live in a city the size of Rhode Island and: 1. Never see each other. 2. Both have seen the same Heavy Ford with Dog?
  8. Jeeps Parking Next To Jeeps

  11. 24 Mohave needs a Yearly Alignment?

I recently had to get my 24 JTM realigned. The steering was off by enough to cause my truck to light up like a Christmas tree. No emergency braking, no cruise control; everything was shot. I went in and the dealership charged me nearly 200 for the alignment, claiming it was normal wear and tear...
  12. Dreadnought: The Buildening - 2024 JT/M

Nice try, but it has a yellow bill. Also, it was given by a known party and has been scanned for Chaotic Influence.
  13. Clover - Rubicon Built for Weekend Adventures and Daily Driver

As busy with life and the tinies as you might be, definitely grab stuff for you for 3 days and take the nearest weekend to go figure out exactly the setup you have, what is needed, not needed and/or comfortable; but only for you. Figure out exactly what you need first, and then pare your haul...

  17. Dreadnought: The Buildening - 2024 JT/M

Sadly, I'm back in Anchorage on the 20th. Very likely, the next day I'm going to have to put in the shop at Anchorage CDJR to have the front axle replaced (drivers side front blew all of its grease). Luckily, it's all warranty work, so I should be back on the road by at least the 22nd. See you...
