17000 miles, and I'm having to get my front axle replaced because all of its important mission goo went splatter everywhere.
Why? No reason that they've been able to tell me. And I didn't go wheeling at all, in winter, in Anchorage.
I just noticed when I went under my vehicle to take off my...
Not just tightly in there, but centered. If the plug is centered, through and through, everything about your install should fall into place like a key into a lock.
You might also want to look and see if any of the attachment points on the back of the floor trim are seating correctly.
It took...
When you placed the plug, was it perfectly centered? I ask, because it took me hours to try to force everything into place just so to get it lined up. When I did, everything locked into place perfectly.
Since I'm going to have limited time off after this hitch, I elected to have a trusted friend who is a certified Mopar mechanic install the front springs and isolators. Only $250. I'll report how it feels with everything on afterward.
You are a brave individual for both parking AND shopping there. Also, is it sad that I know that truck and dog, too?

Figure out exactly what you need first, and then pare your haul...

Sadly, I'm back in Anchorage on the 20th. Very likely, the next day I'm going to have to put in the shop at Anchorage CDJR to have the front axle replaced (drivers side front blew all of its grease). Luckily, it's all warranty work, so I should be back on the road by at least the 22nd.
See you...
