I'm gonna give you advice from a guy that haggled and penny pinched for about a year to get the best deal he could possibly get... JUST DO IT!
This is coming from a guy who is CHEAP and hates debt. I had half a mind to hold out for an extra thousand dollars on mine but couldn't go any lower...
MAN! wherever you are that looks like a good time! Where is that? I'm assuming not near indiana?
I see that youre from indiana. My wife and I might be moving to South Bend because we both have job offers in the works and we want to get back to the midwest.
Did we just become bestfriends/...
Love the bronze. I was so close to going with a bronze method instead of the black.
Of course, I love the tires. I have the same ones with block side out. I wanted to pay tribute to the bottom trails that I have always run.
Then gave her a bath. This week, I will remove the plastic pieces between the fender and bumper if all goes according to plan.
Oh, yeah, I also removed the gladiator and sport stickers.
If jeep is smart they will certainly do this. Honestly, it wouldn't make much of a dent out of their rubicon sales. Guys who want locking diffs and sway bar disconnect offered by the Rubis are going to spend the money regardless. Jeep could even offer the same package on the Rubis: Small lift...
Man, no response on this? I see you figured it out in the "what did you do" thread. I'd love to see a write-up on this. I am very interested in getting this same sub for my gladiator so I might have to pick your brain when I get it.
Thanks Partner. I went with the Mopar Lift with 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 17in Method 301s. I love the way it turned out. I have some better pics of the shoes in my build thread.
Finally picked up the ol' girl this morning. I had tires and wheels put on directly.... and a few minutes later I took it off the pavement (as close as somebody can get to off roading in lubbock, TX). Here's some pictures from Day 1 of my gladiator ownership. I love this thing even more than I...
I did it cause the chicks dig it...
only kinda kidding. I, of course, did it for crawling clearance and bc a sport looks awkward without one IMO. Went with Mopar because I didn't want to void warranty and I could have it done by the dealership right when I drove off the lot. I debated a few...
Thanks partner! You were a big help giving me the confidence to pull the trigger. My wife and I wanted to take an overlanding trip out to your neck of the woods if we got the Jeep by summer, but now summers over and I'm about to be back to school. Maybe in the fall we'll make a trip out there...
