  1. Mojave lift question...

Do you know if it's possible to retrofit rear falcons for a JL to JT or Mojave? I'm guessing the rear mojave mounts are different from other models as well?!
  2. Mojave lift question...

Nice, thanks for the reply and feedback. Based on that stance, with AAL fender chop lights, 38's would have plenty of clearance. The mojave I am looking at already has that done. I am running 39" KM3 on my JTR frankenlift. Springs are 2" mopar with TF 1.5 spacer in the front, synergy front end...
  3. Mojave lift question...

Yea, truck will be a pavement pounder. It currently has some sort of 2" spacer lift and shock ext from previous owner. When/if I make the trade, I thought about going with a 2.5" actual lift, scrap the spacers, keep the fox 2.5's, and run 37's or 38's. It also has the amercan adventure fender...
  4. Mojave lift question...

He’s been driving my Superduty for the past 3 mos, so will be fine.
  5. Mojave lift question...

I wholeheartedly agree with the Rubicon vs Mojave statement, hence my other jeeps are rubicons. JLUR, JTR on 39's, and our 392 with 3.5 MC and 37's. Long story short, we bought the 2018 JLUR new in 2018, knowing we would give it to our son when he started driving. That time has come, the JLUR is...
  6. Mojave lift question...

Looked at Clayton as well, very nice set up. I have metal cloak 3.5 on our 392 and pretty happy with it. For this truck, it will be for my son in hs, so essentially just driving to school and football. Comparing the price of the clayton vs MC, the mc will meet our needs. Noticed they also offer...
  7. Mojave lift question...

I am about to be new to the mojave line, all my other JL's and JT are rubicons, but getting ready to trade our JLUR in on a mojave. Question is, are the shocks worth keeping with plans on lifting and using extensions? The truck will be for my son, so will be 99.9% on road, and I'm sure the...
  8. Let's see your 40" Tires!

Do 39’s count?! Lol Running 513s as well and love them. Drivability is great. Power from the magnusson helps as well!
  9. Magnuson Supercharger Issues.... not

Confirmed this morning, I am in 8th at 46 mph, lol, 513s and 39" BFG KM3. This is obviously under normal grandpa type driving.
  10. Magnuson Supercharger Issues.... not

    I think I am in 8th by 45mph, lol
  11. Magnuson Supercharger Issues.... not

The hang ups I have with Daves tune, and the shift points, it under normal driving, the sub 3k shift points. I completely understand why he did it, but I also hate being in 4/5th gear at 35 mph with 513 gears.
  12. Are Supercharger Issues Entirely Related to Tuning or also Hardware?

If the cost is not an issue. I would def do the 392 swap. I still may one day tbh. My dd is a 23 raptor, so plenty of umph with that truck. The jt is mainly for camping and jeeping.
  13. Are Supercharger Issues Entirely Related to Tuning or also Hardware?

My truck is on the plump side as well. I believe it weighs around 7200lbs with me and a full tank of gas. Steel bumpers, winch, rock slide engineering retractable rails, bed rack and basket, etc. IDK what the 392 weighs, but much lighter. Don't get me wrong, my JT runs great, for what it is, but...
  14. Are Supercharger Issues Entirely Related to Tuning or also Hardware?

Owning a maggi charged JTR and a 392XR, I just want to comment on anyone reading this in the future, there is ZERO comparison to a sc'd 3.6 and 392, lol. That said, my JTR is on 39's and has 513 gears, so in no way feels "fast". The power and torque is there for towing, and loaded down with...
  15. Are Supercharger Issues Entirely Related to Tuning or also Hardware?

I wouldn't say zero gain at all in my case. My JTR runs 10x better than prior. I have no issues pulling my opus camper through the mountains at 70 in 6th gear (auto) and keeping rpms low. The torque is great. That said, the truck does not feel fast in the least compared to the 392, but the power...
  16. Are Supercharger Issues Entirely Related to Tuning or also Hardware?

After purchasing a 392 last summer for my wife, I will agree with this statement. While my maggi JTR runs well on 39's and 513 gears, it in no way compares to the 392, not even close. All that said, I bought my SC used, did the install myself, and run dave's tune. All said and done, I had around...
  17. Building 3.6 with forged internals

I honestly do not know. IIRC, I think @DAVECS2 said it was around 10lbs?! Maybe he can chime in with an answer.
  18. Building 3.6 with forged internals

Just curious if you did any type of dyno testing prior to tearing down? Would be curious to see what kind of improvement is made going forged, and possibly adding more boost? Obviously, the goal is longevity! I've been driving my maggy glad more since the weather is nicer, and I absolutely love...
  19. 2021 8 speed automatic Magnuson Supercharger

Wouldn't a dealer flash reprogram the thing all together erasing any tune from Dave?
  20. Building 3.6 with forged internals

Hell yea!! keep us posted on progress!
