  1. Eaton E-Locker, Another option finally here for non JTR E-Lockers.

Another locker option is Ox. Similar to ARB, Ox does not require rotation of the wheel to engage, and if you choose the manual or electronic engagement options you avoid potential air leaks that may be of concern with ARB. This video covers the different types of lockers, including ARB air...
  2. Ox Lockers

This is exactly what I did. Aux #3 switches a relay to activate the front locker and Aux #4 switches a relay to activate the rear.
  3. There is no debate, go 4.88 gears (my review)

I also agree with this. I have 37 inch BFG KO2s and just installed 4.88 gears last week and it is, indeed, a game changer.
  4. Sway bar Quick disconnects

I did not have to trim the fender liners. I did reshape them following the instructions I received from Apex (see below). I probably didn't have to reshape them but I went ahead and did while I was installing the disconnects. I used a hair dryer and a trailer hitch ball. It was very easy to...
  5. Sway bar Quick disconnects

I installed mine last week and went to the local off road park yesterday. Disconnecting and reconnecting are both super easy compared to traditional quick disconnects--no need to find perfectly level ground, no need to use a rubber hammer to get things on and off, no need to lay in the grass /...
  6. Mopar front grab handles with Bestop Sunrider

I looked into this a while back and found that they will not work with the Bestop Sunrider. Unfortunately I do not have the post from Bestop where they started they will not work but it is on this forum somewhere.
  7. Disconnecting rear sway bar

I would like to disconnect my rear sway bar when off roading. I disconnected it before my last trip but could not find a good way to secure it out of the way without having concerns it would come in contact with something (bottom of the bed, ground, etc.). Because of that I reconnected it...
  8. Ox Lockers

Has anyone installed Ox lockers with the electric shifting option? If you did, did you use the switches that comes with the electrical actuators? Where did you mount them?
  9. Anybody have experience with the new Teraflex sway bar disconnects?

I have the Teraflex quick disconnects and agree with what you said about needing level ground. I suspect that is the case for any quick disconnect. I found that you can disconnect and reconnect them on slightly unlevel ground with a couple light taps from a rubber hammer.
  10. Red Rock Bedside Sliders?

I ordered the Red Rocks about a month ago when I received an email from Extreme Terrain stating they were back in stock. I ordered on a Friday night and they were at my house Sunday morning. Impressive! I was finally able to install them this weekend. The mounting brackets were incorrectly...
  11. Rugged Ridge Arcus Front Bumper

It is in this thread along with a bunch of pics. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/rugged-ridge-arcus.41558/
  12. Ox Lockers

I plan on running the electric actuators. IMO that is still an advantage for Ox since it removes the compressor, air lines, and the o-ring seal inside the diff and the potential failure points associated with each of them (admittedly I do not know of a single ARB compressor failure, but is has...
  13. Ox Lockers

I was torn between Ox and ARB, too. I decided to go with Ox to avoid potential issues with air leaks associated with air lockers (air lines, o-rings), and to avoid having to find a place for the compressor. And I like that with Ox you have the ability to install the drive away lock in the...
  14. Ox Lockers

I am using Stomper Off-Road in Olathe. They installed my lift and did a great job. I've stopped in many times to discuss other mods with Jay, the owner, and he has always been very helpful and has taken the time to talk through options and pros and cons of each. You can check their google...
  15. Ox Lockers

I ordered my Ox lockers yesterday (actually the shop I use ordered them for me). After they were ordered I started wondering about using the factory aux switches to engage / disengage the electric shifters. I assumed it could be done, but after watching the Ox electric shifter install video on...
  16. Ox Lockers

Did you happen to get a schematic of how it is wired? Do you know if it is it possible to use the factory aux switches to engage/disengage the Ox electronic lockers?
  17. Rubicon fender swap

Yeah, probably, I do not remember the details of the quotes. I actually wanted the textured black Rubicon fender flares anyway, but I got a good deal on the red painted ones so I thought I'd just paint them and be out less money. However, the textured black fender flare kit from Quadratec was...
  18. DIY Bedrail System

This is exactly what I would do if I did it again. The lifting eyes I used rusted so I need to sand and paint them. A couple of the rails I got from McMaster-Carr have scratches in them and are rusting. I'll probably end up removing my homemade system and either replacing it with the Mopar...
  19. Rubicon fender swap

FWIW I bought a set of used red painted fenders to go on my granite Gladiator. I took them to three body shops to see how much it would cost to get them painted and they were all in the $500 - $600 range.
  20. Mods you regret

I regret buying the Quake 9" LED headlights with white DRL halo and amber turn signals. They are not really 9" headlights, they are 7" headlights with a trim ring. Luckily for me one of the halos didn't work so I just contacted @Quadratec and they quickly provided an RMA so I could return...
