I was a little worried about the fit of a 62in RTT, but it looks OK to me. I have a little over hang in the back though, not too bad. The hardware that came with it didn't work for me though. The attachment brackets weren't long enough for Rebel cross beams. Luckily though, Rebel makes sure...
Not as bad as I thought it would be. I'm a rear view driver as it is. You still get a pretty good view of what's behind you as the jeeps are generally sitting higher than most traffic. I find myself looking under the top of the rack when using the mirror. Putting on the 23zero 62in RTT today...
Your absolutely right. Dang... No 12v charging from the vehicle. Well then.... This one is out. I will need that. There are many others that do have that feature though. One that comes to mind is the Ecoflow DELTA 1300. Its about 100 bucks more but has a real fast recharge rate.

The Bluetti and most of the other solar generators have 12v DC charging plugs built in already. It also has regulated 12v DC output which is a big requirement for the 12v fridges. They will shut off if the voltage drops below a certain point. I think you can put them in the bed of the Gladiator...
I'm following all these threads closely as I want a simplified, portable, powerful, power source as well. I also want it to be as affordable as possible too. That apparently is the hard part. It seems, no matter the DIY involved, the batteries are expensive, making for costly set-ups. I am of a...
The Api's had my attention as well, just haven't looked into them as much as I have the Iceco's. I'll have to look up some write ups on them. Their prices are very competitive. Looks like I have to do a little more homework, also interested to see what you develop.
My ice chest is filling my...
Thanks for the reply. I will be following this thread as I am about to bite the bullet for fridge and battery. On a side note, I wish Jeep had built in a solar generators battery battery instead of that blue tooth speaker behind the rear seat.
Will the voltage be regulated? Some of the solar generators on the market can't be used for 12v DC camper fridges as the voltage drops below the minimum voltage for the fridges as the battery drains down. Also, what is 100ah in watt hours? The largest Jackery is 1000 wh I believe.
It's ok to have an opinion. I think they are ugly too, but to each their own. You would think there would be others on the market by now. They do need some protection.
I am looking into a canvas covering as well. I have a half rack, but want a cover I can snap on or Velcro on to keep trail dust and dirt from coating everything in the bed. Let's research this. I imagine there are vendors or DIY types here who can help us out.

Sure it's made on China and is very questionable to say the least, but 99 bucks?
