Geez guys.... All the guy has to do is sit in the back seat of both vehicles to make up his own mind. Salespeople steer you to the sale they need to make. Don't take it for granted they have your best interest in mind.
Dealers or sales people will try to steer you where the best money is for THEM. Right now gladiators sell themselves and I would imagine the manufacturer sale discounts to the DEALER are non-existent or very little, whereas for the wrangler it might be a different story. Be aware the dealer...
From what I understand it's a headache to install as the computer needs to be told it's there too. Besides the factory 300w inverter is pretty weak. Think I'd go for something at least 600w.
I know a lot of them are paid reviewers, but those are usually pro product. When I see several reviews pointing out problems with a product, my caution flag flag comes out. I post reviews myself and I'm sure other buyers do as well. But... You're right, take it all in with a grain of salt.
I didn't like the reviews on it. Sounds like a good concept with the safety of a jack stand built it, but it had a number of issues that need to be worked out. The glaring one is how you have to lower it, then how it has a tendency to lean to the left, and finally how it is constructed. Big no...
I don't know. Seems like much to do about about nothing. Unless you custom make your add ons yourself, then you can wonder what is going on. Everything you have is off a shelf and so is his. Bound to happen so what?
Agreed. Ordered some cowl lights on 8/7 and they still haven't shipped. I'm about ready to cancel the order. Other than selling items not in stock and not advising their customers of this at time of order, I think they have potential to be a good source for aftermarket accessories. I really like...
This new WayOut Jeep Gladiator model seems to have a rack close in design to the one Max3 is trying to put out. I like its lines. Looks like a canvas top could be adapted to it. I bet Mopar will be selling this as an add-on accessory once this Jeep model is out, or soon after. Got a feeling...
I have some some lights on order and paid for already, but had no idea they were not in stock at the time of order. Come on, in this day and age of computer managed inventories, they should let you know at the time of order if an item is in stock or not. It seems I have to wait for a slow boat...
The rails go almost to the edge of the tent floor. You shouldn't have a problem. There is a tad under an inch of space between rail end and tent floor end.
My finger is showing the end of the rail and the aluminum strip is the end of the tent floor, this is at the rear of the bed.
The other...
Yes, I understand that. Human or not, they just don't care to follow the warnings on the boxes, be it impractical or just carelessness. I just wanted to know how long one should wait before turning it on or if you even have to wait. I saw nothing in the handbook it came with about this.
I happen to agree that most of these small overland trailers are over priced for what they are, especially the decked out ones. For the money one would spend, you can pretty much get a full size travel trailer with all the goodies. I did find these smaller viking trailers. They don't look...
The delivery guys left my new fridge on the front porch upside down, luckily I got to it within mins and set it right. I am worried though that they had it in their truck upside down as well and who knows for how long. I have heard that you need to let the gases settle again once upright...
One other thing for those going with a half or 3/4 rack, depending on the size of your rtt and if the cover is zippered onto the tent, it can be a bear to zipper close the cover on the side facing the cab of the truck. It's very hard to work the zipper between the tent and cab due to lack of...
