That all said, maybe the solution can be reversed with a tabbed nutsert plate in the trail rail with bolts being inserted from the “outside”, that way, no interference. I’ll throw the idea in the suggestion box.
Now I wish I had shot a video of me removing mine again yesterday.
I simply loosen and remove the 8 nuts from the rail bolt assemblies, push the bolts back further into the rail channel, and pull the upright bars one at a time “in and up”gently setting them back riding on the recessed bolts...
