Below are three links to posts I've made about my trip last year after picking up one of the first Gladiators delivered to Houston after the opening of orders once the Launch Edition thingy was over. They aren't necessarily in order, but they cover a six month road trip I started the day after I...
I have now had my Gladiator for a year and two months. I ordered mine the first day they opened up ordering after the launch additions were through. I got mine on June 17th, 2019, and took off on a 6 month road trip of 23,000 miles starting in Houston, Texas.
After traveling to Missouri...
I definitely had that experience on my trip after picking up my Gladiator a year ago. I went through numerous storms and just areas where it rained, never had any water in the bed. But, for instance, when I drove the haul road from Fairbanks up to Deadhorse, and back, I had a TON of dust in the...
I am definitely going to take a look. Due to my spontaneous nature I of course had not arranged in advance to take the trip out to the sea, much to my chagrin.....

Only when I went off road, like in Emigrant, Montana, going up the old mining roads into the mountains. Stuff like that. I did use four wheel drive on the haul road in a few spots, but mainly because I didn't trust the traction on sections of what they call a "road" there, LOL.

That was probably me, lol. I actually didn't replace the windshield till I got back home to Houston, a couple of months later. I got home right around November 1st and had put on 23,000 miles on the brand new JT.
I've been home a few months now, after leaving Alaska and spending time in...
Wow, I don't remember seeing this post, I'm sorry I didn't answer it! My first tent I used in the beginning of my trip turned out to just be inadequate, so, when I got to Alaska, I gave it away to some folks and got a different one. Still not ideal, but taller and I didn't have to bend over near...
Yeah, this was in Emigrant, Montana, south of Livingston. You go toward Chico Hot Springs and drive past the resort on up the gravel road. You turn left onto Emigrant Creek Road, and keep driving, lol. Been up there a couple of times in two different Jeeps.
Mine came from a vehicle going the other way, a motor home towing a POS Subaru on a rough section of the ALCAN just before hitting the border leaving Canada and entering Alaska, low speed, no one traveling my way in front of me.

Okay, I drove my Gladiator from Houston, Texas, all the way to Deadhorse, Alaska, and back, and a LOT of places in between.
I did not have the bug/rock deflector before I got to Fairbanks, Alaska, and I picked up my first rock chip in the windshield just a couple of miles before passing out of...
Ha! Hadn’t really noticed that! After the events of this thread I went back to Gardiner, Montana, north entrance of Yellowstone, and camped for several days till the snow started up, lol. Then to Moab for just over a week, then back to Las Vegas for a couple of weeks (camping), then I headed...
on the other hand, my JT is six months old now and has 27,103 miles (4.5 month road trip after purchase) and I have had zero issues (if you don’t count the fender I kinda tore loose at Moab).
To discount an entire vehicle line because you have one that turned out bad isn’t the way to go...
