The prices are inflated that a 35% reduction wouldn't even bring them back to true market value. I think Stellantis in particular will do it. They are on the ropes right now. Terrible decision making at the top of that company.
I'd like to see how much auto workers salaries went up compared to upp level management and especially the ceo"s salaries. Corporate greed is what's driving high prices.
The dealership that has the Power Wagon I was considering messaged me that they dropped the price by $2500. I told the guy to let me know when they drop it another $2500. Crickets.
I will probably wait and see what Stellantis does with prices this year. I'm hearing they're going to drop by 30% which would put them closer to what they should be. If that's the case maybe I'll order a tradesman PW and have both. Retirement is two years away, I'd like to have both going into...
Well, to put awrap on this thread I've decided to stay with my Gladiator. I just don't have the time to remove all or most of the aftermarket stuff that I will get nothing for in a trade and I don't have the will or energy to go back and forth with a stupid salesman. I love my Gladiator and I'm...
Yeah $32k for a trade would be a deal breaker. I realize that aftermarket add-ons don't get you anything but I'd want $38-40k for my Mojave with Smartcap.
I'm actually in Northern California. Taxes are definitely an issue. You make great points. Let me assure you, I have not made up my mind. It would be much easier if I didn't like my Jeep.
I spend the summer fly fishing and I appreciate the JT so much on these trips unless I want to camp. I hate sleeping on the ground and the bed is too small to stretch out in. I guess I could splurge on a rtt but I've never really liked those either. I sound as indecisive as my wife. My apologies.
35 years of busting my ass. I'm at the point of if I need to finance it I can't afford it. I learned the hard way that debt is bad. I wish is was " Financially stable" enough to just have all the toys. Lol.
Good info. Definitely something to think about. I have a rv carport that I would be parking it in so no garage. As for speed I have other avenues as well.
The particular truck
The particular truck I'm looking at has sliders that act as steps. Climbing is not as much an issue as just keeping the knee bent for extended periods.
I like that the PW has the same basic mechanical features as the Gladiator. Since I have a Mojave currently I'd actually be gaining front locker and sway bar disconnect. We do a lot of snow wheeling where I live and the PW would be great for that on 37s. The TJ does awesome of course but if I...
The particular one I'm looking at was a special order. Leather with all the options but what I like best is the fact that it has the 8.4" screen as opposed to the big 12" screen that apparently had many issues.
