Perhaps if I were to go 37's I may think to get gear to the 4.56. I have 35's and 4.10s now, and I have absolutely no want for more gear. All is well and I average 18-19 mpg on mixed terrain and roads. Auto tyranny.
That is one good looking tail gate. I would like if I could do a simple tailgate swap and a little cash. If I did it on my own own, I know one letter would be off by 1/64th of an inch, and I would never be able to unsee it. You know... no good deed goes unpunished!
Awesome job dude.
I know you want paint... The option of Fluid Film or NHOil is MY way to go.
We use both products at work in the NHDOT, they both proved over time to be the real thing. Actually self heals scrapes. GHOul actually kills the oxidation process.
I personally have never been able to put more than 18.5 gallons in at fill up. Even when indicated low fuel and all. Thought I would run out of fuel, too only have 3.5 gallons still. Ain't complaining.
We had a late 90's Dodge Dynasty in the day. May wife habitually ran it dry. Went through...
My JTR seems as tight a vehicle as any new I have bought. And the JTR I bought used. Purchased brand new through years 2000 Intrepid, 2001 Dakota, 2012 Camero, 2015 Charger. As non squeaking as any of them. Adequately quiet with hard top and MOPAR headliners.
Wife's Camero with the 3.6 always felt anemic to the two of us. Maybe always thought it would feel "more". Her Charger with 3.6? What we wish her Camero felt like.
The Pentastar in the JTR feels about right on 35"s, It suits my wants and needs. Unless someone comes out with a proven...
I did not see your post as a negative either. It was straight to the point. If it REALLY is not needed, then it is an ego thing. Like needing 40s and a lift to go camping. Ego is real and also a legit reason to go big. You want to rock crawl, visit the toughest trails? It may behoove you to...
I think they are concerned about his well being, hopefully not hurt or something. I certainly am not worried about him. But it is a concern, like " hum, wonder why I have not seen a Shadowspapa post in a week or so?" Could be anything, probably just tired typing to all us fools about Jeep...
It's one of those things... they are nice, but everyday normal pick up truck looking. A quick glance it is no different than a F150, a Silverado or even a Colorado or Ranger.
What I like about Gladiators, they stand out. Even in a crowd. Top off more so, doors off even more. Windscreen...
