That’s quite interesting. I loaded the Jeep app and my Rubi diesel isn’t showing the recall? I hope that’s true, but I’m skeptical with a 4/22 build date.

Providing that it didn’t happen out in the boondocks, I’d actually prefer an earlier demise to avoid the long line and wait.

Hopefully, we’ll get one of those expensive fuel filters out of this mess. I think they’re on the 20k service interval.

Thanks for your research, Rusty! I suspected this was gonna be ugly. You would think these manufacturers would get their crap together. If memory serves me right, awhile back BMW had fuel pump issues on their inline 6-cylinder, and more recently didn’t the RAM Cummins have them, too?

For clarification: Is this an injection, injector pump style part on top of the engine between the cylinder heads or something bolted on elsewhere on the vehicle? How major of a repair is this?
