There are undoubtedly different springs as well, since the payload increases quite a bit with the max tow package.
I think the springs and 4.10 gears are the only things I'm missing out on with a Nighthawk+standard tow package.
That just doesn't seem to be what I'm experiencing. Just recently I was driving down a fairly steep hill near my home and I was having to give it gas to maintain 55mph. It stood out to me because I was like ... this is crazy, why am I slowing down? On this same stretch of road I would shift...
I got a Rugged Liner drop-in. It's a pretty decent fit and It retains the 2x4 slots for hauling plywood. $280 through RealTruck.com
I like drop-ins over spray-ins for a few reasons... It's more protection from dents, it has water management/drainage channels and cargo slides easily when...
Can't Wait! If it's anything like the JLU, I'll be able to wave at them all shiny and new parked there on the dealer lot for months.
In all seriousness, I do love electric for the performance, but a short electric range hybrid is kind of a limp noodle IMO. I'd need an electric range of...
I'm in deer-crossing country, so I get what you're saying... but, in neutral (or even in a high gear) using brakes alone to slow down... you're already basically riding the brake pedal, so, unless you're in the middle of a turn, you're gonna be locking it up, but you'll get there sooner if...
Can confirm. After five years it never felt natural to drive... I had to drive like I was late to work everywhere I went... incidentally, I was usually late to work because the Uconnect couldn't keep time either.
Yeah, my dealer's lot was full of Gladiators they can't move and they sold me one at a heavy discount... which wasn't even one on their lot (they got it from another dealer in another state).
I can totally understand why. Gladiators are a very niche market and they're expensive for people that...
As a long time manual driver, I personally hate engine braking... I have always done what everyone says you shouldn't do and is even illegal in some jurisdictions.. if I'm not applying gas, I shift into neutral. Obvs that is a much more clunky thing to do with an automatic, so I don't... but, I...
They could start pumping out the 2025 4xe without really impacting the 2024 sales, don't you think? Seems like two different customers... you know, one set of customers that want terrible MPG while running on gas so they can haul around a heavy battery with a tiny electric range for the added...
I found the same thing before I pulled the trigger on mine. This trim package is unusually discounted. Those deep discounts are the only reason I was even looking at buying a new Jeep product after the COVID-era price hikes.
I have a 2dr JL Willys. I changed the tires out to 265/70-17 (Grabber Atx), so, pretty close to these 275/55-20 Grabber AT sports... I honestly can barely tell the difference between the two as far as ride quality/cornering... so the suspension from these night hawks/high altitudes must do a...
I'm not sure how important it is to you that the headlights turn on/off with the ambient light, but if you replace the switch with nothing else, I believe the headlights will just turn on/off with the ignition. So during the day, they're erm.. "DRL"... but you don't have to worry about...
