I think it was a smaller diameter bolt that Lee had in his shop there. The install happened so fast I really don't recall there being much of an issue on the front mount.
Some more RLD pics from the weekend. Overall I am very pleased with it. The vent on top actually works well at keeping the dust from drafting in during the ride like it did with just a tonneau cover.
This was a first day of running with 37" tires. If it helps these pix all have the Teraflex...
Don't pay the dealer - just buy one. It is worth it! Just being able to run the sway-bar unlocked in 2wd alone is worth it! Another new feature is when in reverse, it turns off the license plate lights so it won't wash out the rear camera at night.
I too went with 37x12.5x17 Patagonia. Mounted on Method 701 rim. I can confirm it fits with 35 psi with a little wiggling but really very little effort. About 1/4" from rear trackbar.
Hard to say as I put the rear spacer in there at the same time as the front level kit anticipating it would need it with the RLD cap and Offroad kit in the back. I am glad I put it in right away as I prefer just a little rake anyway.
35" will look great too. I love the look of 37's but still...
Had mine since late September and loved every minute! Just added an RLD cap, and some 37's with the 1.5" teraflex and 0.75 daystar spacers. Will get a real lift maybe later this summer or next.
Anyone interested in an all JT trail ride in a few weeks somewhere maybe within 60-90 min of...
great video and thanks for the measurements for the group here! One thing I recommend you check is that last photo/measurement. I think mine is 40" from RLD ceiling to bed but the actual mouth was more like 35" from tailgate ridge to upper opening. Just want to make sure people are not...
Yeah, cutting it off would make more sense. I was in a hurry and didn't want to mess with it. I may do this another time when I have it off and hanging but it worked to bend them back a bit for me for now.
I personally would do without the windows. Not sure they add much value to the function but maybe some light and / or air.
Overall it is built heavy duty (a good thing). Some minor fitment issues in the front that can be overcome by bending some flanges 1/4 inch or so.
I also had some...
At first it is a shock with different look but I really like it the more I put stuff in it and see the versatility for hauling more gear.
The rear clamps we tossed and used different t nuts and L brackets. I think the holes didn't line up well but I like how mine installed better anyway...
