Take a level and place it on top of your tire. Measure down to the ground from the bottom of the level. This will give you your actual tire size for inputting into your programmer. Often up to a few inches smaller than you think…
If you’ve had the Tazer for two years and this is the first time you interacted with it, I’m hoping you take the time to learn how to use it and what to do when you go to the dealership. It’s crucial that you unmarry and remove it prior to taking the vehicle to the dealership if anything they...
RockJock, then Rock Krawler, and then MetalCloak if you are on a budget. Tera Flex, Clayton and Evo are solid companies with great products as well. See which on suits your needs.
Not entering as I won a set during their last contest. These mats are excellent! If you don’t win but still need some mats, I highly recommend. Fit is perfect, style is great, price pint is great, and so far pretty durable.
Best way to check is to have someone turn the wheel while your underneath looking and feeling for it. Most likely culprit is your track bar at the frame. Make sure is tight to spec. If so, and it’s tight to spec it could have wallowed out the hole in the frame. You can upgrade to a 9/16 grade...
Guessing you bent something in the steering, or jumped some threads on the sector shaft/pitman arm. You can usually see a bent tie rod or drag link. I would start there. Replace and re-align if so. If it’s the sector shaft/pitman arm, it’s going to be a lot harder to replace.
FYI…when the...
Depends on if you want “poke” or not. Most aftermarket wheels for Jeeps are designed to allow for 12.5” wide tire clearance when turning and flexing, so they will give you “poke”. Rocks, mud, etc can be an issue but they look better and perform better (more flex while turning without rubbing...
Two sleeper tires to consider are Nexen and Hercules/TIS. Both are made in Korea, not China. The Nexen MTX is an amazing performer and extremely durable. Have run this MT for years and tested against some of the best with a former off road equipment testing company. They rock…literally. The...
Agreed…my hitch 41.22 hitch skid gets a workout there…probably taken an 1/8th of an inch off it already.

I have a 3.5” lift and two sets of wheels tires. On 35’s I use a “2 drop and on 37’s I use a 4” drop. As suggested earlier you might be fine with no drop? Best bet for limited use would be to get the 8 in 1 Adjustable from Harbor Freight…$42. 2” ball is another $10. If you think you’re going...

Agreed…we were there last week and it was a definite nope. The risk is not worth the reward. It’s a great trail out to Dragons Tail. Then just turn around and do another trail. What we did…
The video quality isn’t great, and don’t expect to use it to pick your lines, but it lets you know what’s on the other side as you crest over everything.
I’ve done all these except Pritchett and Metal Masher. Steel Bender to the Dragon’s Tail and back out. No way I was going down that fall. Luckily we were with some short wheel based jeeps and they couldn’t go down it anyway. Risk>reward. Did not do Kane Creek this year, so I don’t know how the...
I’ve been Jeeping since 97 when I bought my TJ. Although an automatic, I learned how to off road driving with both feet, picking progressively harder lines, getting to know the feel of my TJ, trying not to use lockers until needed, etc.. I still have and actually prefer to wheel my TJ over my...
Is it wet above that? Could it be coming from above and showing up there? If not, that’s the axle housing to the FAD. They need to check that axle over really well.
