Not an X, but this is my 23 Mojave with factory wheels and Razr Maxxis A/Ts in 35x11.50x17.
No lift, no level. 28k miles on them so far and rides great.
Not silly at all. The rear is folded forward above the soundbar.
I told it forward first, then flip the front back and it secured everything in place directly above the soundbar
Second Gladiator since 2020, wife has had JLU since 2020, daughter a JLU since 2022. No ads on any of them.
Guess I’m in the secret club. Should we start our own thread similar to the Mojave, Rubicon, or various color variations threads?
The transfer case gearing isn’t “too high” for crawling, it’s just that the Rubicon tcase is better suited for it. Folks crawl in non-Rubis all the time.
Since it’s a 21 model, did you happen to check if you have the aluminum or the steel steering gearbox?
There was a TSB for the 20s for sure, and IIRC, some 21s were included in that.
It was your mention of play in the steering wheel that brought that to my mind. Easiest way to check is the that...
318 wasn’t a very popular choice way back when. It was more of the “reliability” engine than anything, but even had in house competition for that title with the old Slant 6.
The 318, 340, and 360 were all the LA small blocks for the old days of Mopar.
In my younger years, easy way to get...
Well, to tell the story I have to start with my old 13 JKU. I named it Banshee. Mainly because of my Celtic heritage, but also because the “moaning” sound of the tires and the loud rock music always “wailing” from inside.
After trading the JKU for the JT, I kept with the Celtic theme. In...
The initial install takes a good bit longer due to assembling the rails and not really knowing how it goes together. However, I’ve got it down to maybe 15 minutes due to having done it several times and keeping the rails assembled in the box when I pack it away for winter.
The hard top I keep...
I’ve been using the Rugged Ridge Voyager (Rampage Trailview is the same top with different name) for a few years now.
I bring that one up because once installed, the front acts the same as a Sunrider. Unclamp the two latches and flip it back. Then it also has the added bonus of being able to...
If you used JScan, there’s a place in the settings that show every change you’ve ever made. That will show you what the original tire settings were.
Edit-after tapping the gear in the upper right, it’s “trace and restore adaptations.”
I have used JScan for quite some time with great success. However, if I could do it over again, I’d go with AlphaOBD. Reason being, we are a multiple jeep household and I’m on my third different Jeep since 2019. Each Jeep requires a license purchase with JScan. Alpha only requires a one time...
Thank you. About 9000 miles in and I like them so far. Haven’t had a real snow yet, but looking forward to seeing how they do once it hits.
For reference, here’s the mounted Maxxis next to the unmounted factory Falkens.
