Thanks everyone.
I should clarify there is no machine interference causing the dents. The 23-24 Colorado has roof tin so thin that just the dryer blower would cause oil canning and damage. It was enough of an issue that GM put out a TSB on it to reinforce the roof. I think later years have...
The Colorado ZR2 I traded for my JTM could not be run through a car wash because the blower would dent the roof., really. I only hand washed it.
Now, being in my 70s, there are times I just don't have the energy or desire to hand wash a vehicle and need a quick clean.
For folks that regularly...
On this and my prior JT I have always just dumped in what it calls for. In this case, 5 qts.
Come to think of it, I do that with any vehicle I own.
It's fine.
Pretty common around here too.
The wife asked a coworker once why she kept going to a food bank when she clearly didn't need it. The response was, "why not, it's free".
I generally keep everything on my Jeeps.
I used to go out with the sides and doors off my TJ, just the top up for shade. I quickly figured out that a 100 mile day in the Nevada desert will trash everything inside the Jeep. Not to mention feeling like you're sitting in a hair dryer during...

I've found it actually does better around town than when...
19 feet. This one is a 2021 with a GVRW of 3,250. It's the Hood River edition that has more ground clearance. 30 gallon tanks. It's perfect for dry camping in the middle of nowhere.
Here is how I diagnosed DW on my JK. It had about 65,000 miles on it at the time. I was not able to detect any problems just pushing and pulling on steering components. Everything looked fine until they weren't.
First is make sure your tires are well balanced.
Lay under the front of your...
No first few years I ran the Nike radar. It was used as a reference radar because it was so accurate. Later I ran the AN/GPQ-T8. It was a triple A radar that ran three different frequency bands to simulate different Soviet radar.
I was there 77-83. It's changed a lot since I was there. Now...
