I live 20 minutes from Rochester and I drive on 35x12.5 all year round. Yes some days in heavy slush or even rainfall they can float a little more than a skinny tire - but it's not that bad once you get used to it. I used to live near the Tug Hill Plateau (if you know...you know) and never...
Just got my first Gladiator in August. 2020 sport, black, 56k miles, cold weather group, mopar lift & brand new 35s, 8 speed auto. It drives great and I'm enjoying the truck, but it's my first jeep with an automatic transmission.......and I really miss shifting. So I'm considering trading it...
Years ago I had this issue in wranglers so I got a jawbone bluetooth headset and it was a game changer at the time (bone conductive tech was great for filtering out noise). Now days I rarely take phone calls, if it's important they'll text or call me later etc....
I have a 2020 with 7" screen and with bluetooth I can play music and things but to get google maps to work I need to plug in with usb cable. (my 2020 Harley is the same way though, can play pandora via bluetooth but need to plug in to get the maps working.) My revel camper van doesn't even...
Sorry I didn't read the title correctly. I'm new to this forum. Most of my jeep experience is with older jeeps, before JT's existed. My buddies and I used to stuff 4BT's in CJ's or YJ's and had years of great fun with those. They were an easy swap and worked well for our trail rigs as we...
Glad you're happy again. I also love the JK's....( although my preferences would be MB, TJ, THEN JK (only with Pentastars, hated the 3.8L) if I were picking my favorite jeeps of all time)
your JTR will have 4.10 gearing also I believe? I think the 2014 Sahara I owned had 3.21. Also new motors get crap mileage. But between the new engine, different gear ratio and larger and more aggressive tires it seems plausible.
Unfortunately there aren't many vehicles today that have zero issues. No matter which company makes the vehicle...there are some lemons and some QA problems they leave us to find. Toyotas make some fine vehicles but they also have a ton of recalls these days. It's cheaper to force them off...
I traded in my '21 Sierra AT4 with the 6.2L , for my 2020 JT sport with 55k miles last month. Went from a big payment and more truck than I needed, to no payment :)
Of course I'll dump $6k in accessories over the next couple years.....but whatever :)
Also look in your manual for the process of disabling the factory alarm on the bikes if equipped and placing them in "transport mode." I think my street glide was something like turning the bike on but not the ignition and pressing both turn signals at the same time. Otherwise your...
The weight you'll be pulling is well within the JT's capability. I would say +1 to the suggestion of the salt shield, it will protect your bikes from salt, stones and other debris. Use straps with retention (s type with rubber grommets or spring loaded to prevent the hook from popping off the...
There's one in Spencerport I keep seeing, only the back half, missing glass and hardware and freedom panels. I've been considering it, but waiting to see if I can find one all together.
