Freshly lifted, running 35" Mickey Baja Boss with Vision Flow bronze wheels.. this will be my first winter with this set up.. what does everyone in the winter climates do.. keep their bigger tires/wheels on, or change them back to stock wheels and tires?

I have a set of 31" Wanglers I throw on for the Winter on Rubicon rims. Saves the 35's for longer use. I also have a 02 Volvo with AWD and Toyo ATIII's that absolutely eats in the snow.

My 37s will stay on for winter up here in Massachusetts.

My 35s did fine last year and my new 37” Baja Boss ATs are actually slightly narrower so I expect the same performance…maybe even better since the the Baja Boss tires have better siping on the treads.

Edit: down here in Massachusetts…it’s rare that I’m responding to someone north of me on this forum lol.

35 General Grabbers all year up here in Maine. 30k on these tires and they look like they’re 1/2 worn if that.

How wide are your 35s ? And what kind of winter road conditions do you deal with?

I live 20 minutes from Rochester and I drive on 35x12.5 all year round. Yes some days in heavy slush or even rainfall they can float a little more than a skinny tire - but it's not that bad once you get used to it. I used to live near the Tug Hill Plateau (if you know...you know) and never regretted leaving my big tires on. As for the rims, I don't swap them out either. If you don't make a point to wash your jeep regularly the body will rust out and pretty rims won't matter lol. You'll be fine.
