  1. Tell Stellantis what you want..again

I wouldn't mind a stepside either. Basically bring back the Honcho with a V8 and a manual transmission and I'd be thrilled. I'd also prefer an interior that was simple, waterproof so you could hose it out and not worry about electronics or leather. If they want to make fancy interiors for...
  2. Tell Stellantis what you want..again

A manual transmission, a "good" manual transmission.
  3. Do you have any fun winter projects for your machine?

Great move, mine has the factory heated seats and steering wheel and I use them daily!
  4. TPMS on spare tire?

I believe the TPMS only reads the tires in motion. The "spare" won't register unless it's mounted and rotating. I do a 5 tire rotation on my wife's JK and they all have sensors but which ever one is on the tailgate doesn't register.
  5. Where are they now?? **offroad parks & destinations of the past (and updates?)

My wife and I got married in Moab, rented jeeps from Twisted Jeeps. We went back for our 5 year anniversary in her JKUR and then drove the white rim trail, camped at white crack. We may end up moving to Utah when we retire. That place is epic.
  6. Where are they now?? **offroad parks & destinations of the past (and updates?)

Paragon was the best back in the day. I would leave Ithaca with a half dozen friends in lifted TJ's and YJ's and spend the weekend playing there. The last few times I wheeled in NY was on private land. Been out to Moab a few times now though, worth the trip.
  7. Do you have any fun winter projects for your machine?

My new hood arrived a week ago. Just been waiting for the weather to be nice on a weekend so I can install it. Something about leaving for work in the dark, and getting home in the dark really takes away my desire to do anything.
  8. Let’s see your pets cause they are the best companion you can have!!!!!

Seamus my 7 year old Mastiff mutt (with a puppy shot of him too) and Ada our cattledog
  9. At-The-Ready pistol mount [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: Storage / Mount Talk Only -- No Glorification, States, Laws, Permits, Politics or Usage Discussions]

Yeah I would assume car jacking happens quick. I've never been car jacked but if driving away was always an option I feel like there would be less of them.
  10. At-The-Ready pistol mount [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: Storage / Mount Talk Only -- No Glorification, States, Laws, Permits, Politics or Usage Discussions]

It appears to be from here or similar https://at-the-ready.us/ I'd go for that if I lived in a free state. But in NY you have to keep things hidden to avoid harassment.
  11. I knew it was coming…..

I actually got my dad a set of torx when he got his first jeep. (So he could stop borrowing mine.)
  12. New to me Gladiator

    Looks great so far! Congrats!
  13. Sudden MPG drop- engine issue or winter diesel?

I can't speak to the JT diesel specifically but yes cold weather does hurt mpg with any diesel I ever owned. We have the "winter" diesel here which helps it from freezing but also hurts mpg. I had a chevy cruz diesel that was getting 34 mpg in NY one winter. I drove it to Florida and between...
  14. Worst Trends?

For raised emblems I heat them up with the hot air gun, and then drag a piece of fishing line behind them and they usually pop right off.
  15. Worst Trends?

I like the nod to the old willys, but you can remove the stickers with a blow dryer or hot air gun without damaging the paint. I removed all my decals from my 2012 sahara, and replaced them with willys lol (to replicate my 2004 Willys TJ that I regretted selling.)
  16. Worst Trends?

Sounds kinda sexist, I know several females who drive jeeps. I've helped them install lift kits, bigger tires and heard them wish they had a V8. Just sayin' :)
  17. Worst Trends?

I don't personally care for the ducks, never had an angry bumper.......BUT I also don't care what other people do with their jeeps, as long as you're not camped out in the left lane going the same speed as the right lane.....you do you. I'm more annoyed by keyboard commandos that spend hours...
  18. Thoughts? On this lift?

Are you sure you need any lift? If you've got a Rubicon they've already got good suspension and higher fenders, you can easily run 35's with your stock set up.
  19. Gladiators on Mopar 2" Lift Kit

    This pic shows it better.
  20. Gladiators on Mopar 2" Lift Kit

No just looks level from that angle. The front is lower than the back
