This debate is old and has good points on either side. Some say early synthetics caused bearings to slide rather that roll in some cases, but overall it's a better quality oil. My biggest complaint is people who think...because synthetic costs more , and is better then I can go 10k miles...
When I bought the truck used in August it had some dents in the hood. The dealer said they would replace the hood so I just had them pay for this one. It doesn't feed the intake for performance, but between the scoop and vents I'm sure it helps with heat reduction, killing aerodynamics even...

I saw it on this forum actually , another member had it on his truck. I ordered it in Sept and they had it painted to match and delivered in about 3 months.
Kicked my wife's JK out of the heated attached garage, and put my JT in it's place (for a few hours lol) . Installed the new hood finally (it was zero outside, so the heated garage was a treat)
Yeah the JT are very light. If I need to pull out in traffic when it's raining....I put it in 4 Hi just so I can punch it and not spin. If the roads are really snowy I just leave it in 4 Hi. When I was younger I used 4x4 as a last resort or to get out of a ditch if need be. I guess I'm just...

Ordered mine in Sept, it arrived a week or two ago painted to match. I've got it in the basement on the pool table so I could install the scoop and heat reduction vents with 3m tape in a warm room so it would stick. Will probably install...
I did the white rim trail with my wife in her JKUR in 2019. It was beautiful, make sure nobody going is afraid of heights. Parts of that trail are barely wide enough for a jeep. Shafer Canyon road was awesome to come down.
We did it in a 2016 4 door Wrangler Rubicon with 2.5" lift and 35s...
I had this same issue once in NY. We get our titles here , where as I know some states the bank holds the title until it's paid for. But I had an older title , had lost the lien release and the bank was no longer in business. I went to the DMV office several times, and wasn't getting...
there was a local jeep on craigslist last year, CJ5 with a corvette motor. It was slammed like that, like an old hot rod..... Not my cup of tea but I did kinda want to drive it once
I can't speak for everyone, but personally I'd rather shift an underpowered engine than put it in drive and still go no where..... it's sad to me they decided to stop making manuals rather than just put a decent one in the JT. Between my wife and I we've had a dozen JK's with manual and never...
When I was younger, I loved loud exhaust, loud tires and loud stereos. These days....the tinnitus in my ears is so loud I can't even watch tv without the closed captioning. So between my hearing, the soft top / wind noise..... I try to keep it quieter the older I get. But tread life is...
That made me laugh, that's how I feel about angry grills. I don't have them, but the only thing angry about them is apparently everyone on this forum who gets triggered by them.
I don't like the ducks, nor do I want people touching my truck. But I can always find a jeep to rehome the duck to...
I've purchased new jeeps and chevys with rust, but living in upstate ny they will all rust to pieces anyways. I dream of retiring in the south west and driving something from the 70s with a desert patina and never having to wash it or put the top on again. And wearing the same clothes every...
All my jeeps were manual transmissions, and I loved them. In fact the only reason I got an auto JT is because there weren't any used manuals around here for sale. If I'm going to be stuck with an automatic then it needs to have 400 hp otherwise it's boring. But I can have fun screaming an...

I had a set of "Fierce Attitude" 35x12.5r17 on my 2013 JKU and doing a 5 tire rotation every 5k or 6k miles and I got 80k miles out of that set. They were quiet, good in snow and wore like iron. I kept them at 35 psi and that seemed to work well
I just did mine with jscan, turns out I didn't even need the extensions everyone else talked about (I think the bypass is harder to reach if you have adaptive cruise control -which I don't) but it was the cheapest option, very easy and can be used on multiple jeeps (purchase each VIN for like $25)
