That is true but if you torque things to what it should be then its easier tell what is wrong or just plain loose . Saves pissing away money on parts that are fine just not tight. Unexpected minor things like steering box...........
I called each year a week or two before my subscription ended and said I could not afford it any more and they gave me the same deal I had the year before or similar . This year being about the 25th year they changed me to some loyal listener type of deal being I have been with them so long...
I thoroughly understand why toe in is used and the effect. Been doing this stuff since the 60s . I stand by what I said about toe out . I would not think a Mohave with 2" lift be considered modded enough to worry about scrub radius and toe out . I am betting on it being a band aide for another...
Of course I read the first post . Let me reword it if we need nit picking it . I have never seen or heard personally when toeing out on a 4x4 was the correct fix. Its like saying a worn out steering stabilizer causes death wobble . Most of us know installing a new one is a band aide not...
I always read toe out is for front wheel drive and toe in was for rear wheel drive . I tend to think if it takes being toed out something is wrong on the jeep. Never had a vehicle that required toed out to correctly cure anything .
Teraflex rear control arm Geometry correction bracket ( regret) . I didn't like the change in how it rode so they are sitting on my work bench . Free to any one who wants to pick them up in south jersey . Not shipping. Also a regret and I should of known better but I figured for the street a adj...
Against my better judgement I installed a Rough Country front track bar when I installed my lift kit last summer . Today I replaced it with a Core4x4 Crawl model front track bar . Johnny Joints have served me well for about the last 15-20 years so far . Now I'm happy to have them on both ends of...
Funny how people use loctite. First thing I did to each set of Savvy Arms on my TJs was disassemble the arms and apply synthetic disc brake lube in the tubes and on the threads of the JJs. Never had a jam nut come loose in 15-20 years and the JJS are still fine and never removed. You can hang...
Core Crawl w/JJ's both ends. I want the tightest joint possible as far as deflection goes. I want no left or right motion in the front end because of soft bushings . Same with front lower control arms , I want the axle held firmly without the road surface having any effect on the front axle...
Don't have to be that way . Just adding the info to your post and people searching will find it if they are interested in facts. Thats the kind of thing that helps make a good forum , facts hold more water than opinions
If people would post the actual number on the springs and how much lift they got on what model would help people get the springs they actually need . Works for Ram and TJ owners from what I have seen. It gives you a better idea what you are getting .
Been using alfaOBD on a few Rams and now Gladiator . Does things dealer can't plus if it can do on a Gladiator what it does to a Ram it will do more than most people ask of it .
