  1. WalMart Wheel Deal Dirty Life Mesa True Beadlocks $210 each

Got them all mounted up. Holy crap nothing tells you that you just turned 40 like 128 bolts with a 3 step torque sequence..... I gotta get use to the shiny again, I'd always preferred black wheels, but these do look pretty dang good. Fastest I could get to was 55 but didn't really feel any...
  2. WalMart Wheel Deal Dirty Life Mesa True Beadlocks $210 each

Figured I'd get a few pics up as I'm mounting them. One thing to make sure, they don't come with valve stems and I'm out, so I'm making an AutoZone run. Valve stem hole is 1/2" Wheel without the ring With the Ring: 9" wide & the lip. Not sure if you could mount that like a regular wheel or...
  3. King of the Hammers 2026

been following KOH since it started with 20-30 buddies in race what you brought buggies. It's amazing how much it's blown up
  4. Hawk Pride is for sale...

$3.25Mil, 10% down, 5.98% APR over 30 years get you to $17,500/month At $50/vehicle, you'd need 350 vehicles/month to pay the mortgage, that's only like 90 every week... doesn't count any of the insurance or maintenance on the property... or salary to run it. Makes you really appreciate your...
  5. Rubicon vs Mojave boat towing

[Forest Gump voice] That's my boat...[/Forest Gump voice] That's a 5K axle on the trailer, and from what I've seen with fuel and lake toys it's every bit of it. You definitely know it's back there, really gotta get into the engine on hills, but at the end of the day I've never felt unsafe, just...
  6. New gears making noise on coast

There's honestly nothing that's so complicated that the average person couldn't understand, it's more so the average wrencher isn't use to working with calipers and adjusting things to the hundredth or thousandth of an inch. and it really sucks knowing you've got a half hour of pulling things...
  7. New gears making noise on coast

yes- I worked at a shop during college and learned how to do them then. Our lead tech was a dodge tech
  8. New gears making noise on coast

Yea probably didn't have to, but I was questioning my previous pinion bearing preload already and didn't want to do it a 3rd time to redid everything on the pinion.
  9. New gears making noise on coast

Need to post the patterns, BL, Pinion preload to diagnose. These pinion bearings are known to be suspect and finicky, especially with aftermarket swaps. My Spicer 5.13's did a little "Alien Saucer" sound for the first thousand miles or so after my swap, but it went away when they got broken...
  10. WalMart Wheel Deal Dirty Life Mesa True Beadlocks $210 each

I saw that too, but I figured I could resell them or return them at the worst. received mine today, all the tech details on the box from DirtyLife say it's a 17x9.
  11. WalMart Wheel Deal Dirty Life Mesa True Beadlocks $210 each

I've gotten some good deals from this site before, this deal seems pretty dang solid and in-line with some of the other ridiculous WalMart deals we've seen in the past. 17x9 Dirty Life Mesa Race machined true beadlock wheels for $209 and change. Good luck! Dirty Life Mesa Race-9312 17X9 5X127...
  12. 4.56 gears

At $1000 F&R I'd agree as long as the quality of work is good no way that's not worth it. You'll likely gain MPG especially if going up into the mountains. Only way you won't gain is if you're doing 90MPH everywhere you go.
  13. 4.56 gears

You probably won't notice a different between 4.10's and 4.56's. I normally say you need to jump at least 2 ratios to make a difference. Depends on how good a deal you are getting on the parts, and if you are wanting to install lockers at the same time or not. If you are just getting gears and...
  14. Asking experts again. 3.5 lift after removing 2.5 leveling spacers in front.

I did basically the same thing, had a 2.5" kit on it that provided some big 2.5" spacers up front, and 1" Spacers in the rear. I swapped out the spacers up front for some 3.5" Teraflex springs when I upgraded the control arms and sway bar links. It wasn't noticeable taller, but it definitely...
  15. Help me decide 4.88 or 5.13 for my use

In your situation I think it matters more how fast your normally drive 98% of the time. There's not much you can do to make the Jeep an aerodynamic vehicle, it's a brick on 4 wheels. But if your one of the ones that jumps straight to the left lane and does 90+ everywhere your going, I'd go...
  16. Kanati Overland RTX 37x12.50R17LT - weight & measurements

that's very similar to what I'm seeing on my gladiator 37 BFGs and 5.13's. 18-ish with normal driving in Atlanta traffic/commute. I went down to savannah about a month ago without any agenda, just wanted to see what I could get so I set it at 60-65 in the right lane and got almost 22 over the...
  17. New Mexico 2023 Jeep Gladiator on 1-Tons

Great looking rig, and fair price. ? on the front/rear axles, so you just put a Currie hub on a factor '02 D60 and all computer/electronics were happy once you correct tire/gears with the Tazer? And the rear 14b didn't have to do anything at all, just used factory 14b sensor?
  18. Front control arms or geometry brackets

Brackets for road manners/ride, control arms for flex and ground clearance.
  19. Be honest — who else bought a Gladiator and said ‘I’ll keep it stock’… then immediately ordered parts? 😂

I kind of went the opposite direction, ordered a bunch of parts still waiting on the Gladiator to be built.
  20. airing up tires ?

I built my own with flexvilla hose and a manifold I bought on amazon. I use the knockoff compressor from Napa, got it when it was on sale and can get all 4 tires aired up in <5 minutes. The manifold does get hot when I'm doing a full air up, like really hot. But it works great. writeup on my...
