What did I do with my Jeep today? Nothing... and thankfully its still clean.
My buggy on the other hand? I beat the brakes off that normally pampered pavement princess yesterday. Damn vodka!
An extension cord I use to run a heat light... Whenever it gets down below the mid 40s here, I run that light to help keep my rolling equipment and toys warm.
Since I don't do well at grabbing that cord (or anything else) off the floor, I just hang it where its easiest for me to grab.
I've got retractable steps I've got to wire a shut-off switch into in order to take my doors off.
Once I get that out of the way I probably won't put my doors or top back on until "winter" shows up again here in The Floridas.
They've also missed the part about me being very happy with my new gears and the way my JT runs now....
But what do I know.. I'm not an engineer.
My ignorance is truly bliss.
Lets don't get carried away here... Boggers are a little hardcore for this wanna-bee.
Was thinking IROK... I like the way they look.
This is why I'm looking for info on lifts..
Has been some good info offered here but I don't think folks are grasping just how much offset I'm dealing with.
With...
Not my daily. Its not even my secondary and yes, I'm familiar with Swampers.
Ran 38s on my old TJ (which has been some time ago)
And currently am running a set of non-radial TSLs on my Polaris Ranger.
Yes. Even though my JT is an asphalt queen I want folks to think Dang! Bet he's headed to the swamps when I pass em.
Its not that I don't think off-roading would be fun... I just don't wanna have to wash it.
As yall can see from pic.. My wheels (Fuel FC125 "Rincon" in 20x10) have a huge offset (-48) so when I do a search for suspension upgrades, most of the info doesn't apply to my application.
I want to run 35" tires in either 13.5" or 14.5" width (most likely Swampers).
I DO NOT want to cut or...
I went with the Dana Spicer's... I'm only 400 miles into swap so don't have an opinion on em yet.
Also I went with the 4.56 because I'm putting on 35s as soon as I figure out how much & which lift to go with and wanted to end up with what I feel will be the equivalent of 4.10 ratio with the...
Wherever my song comes on...
Already been looking at superchargers. Once someone can 'sell me on one' that won't beat the bottom out my 3.6... I'll be the guy that always has bald tires on the back.
Perspective on where I'm heading with my mods:
I like the idea of 4.10s. Every work truck I ever ordered was with 4.10s.. I think its the best gear to get a motor to work down low without too much compromise on highway use.
My plan is to end up with 35" tires on my JT once I sort out how...
