  1. 3 inch lift ride quality on 37’s

yeah if you look at the ring on your shocks, they have never traveled any further up than that 1" I bet every time you hit a pot hole... speed bump... its a very abrupt sensation in the front.
  2. 3 inch lift ride quality on 37’s

Also by the looks of it you only have 1" of up-travel before hitting those bump stops! That would not be a comfortable ride at all. You want to aim for at least 3" up travel IMO, but by the looks of it you don't have a lot of fender clearance as it sits... My 2 cents. Reduce PSI to 29-30PSI...
  3. 3 inch lift ride quality on 37’s

What PSI are those tires at?
  4. Bad rear bearing

I think as of now this is a dealer only part.
  5. Nifty trick on Taser JL

Ok Sure thing. I have covid right now and the jeep is outside getting snowed on. I'll try to snag it this afternoon once I can convince myself to get out of bed. But long story short. Step 1. Go to your Audio display menu (7) on the heads up console, and scroll through your tazer menu's and...
  6. Mopar 2" diesel lift kit install help

With the metal cloak isolators I sit 1/2” taller and the springs have no bow
  7. Nifty trick on Taser JL

Hey there, not sitting in the jeep, but simply find the boost gauge when you are on the tazer audio menus. then go to the settings on the central display and change the top section to audio. I’ll do a video tomorrow if you can’t sort it out. Cheers!
  8. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

To me the only thing we know that is different right now is the actual bump stop. next week I plan on going to the dealer and ordering some of those bumps, just to see how magical they are.
  9. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Ok…. So if the springs are the same part between 21 and 22….. and the coils are the same length (stock rubicon coils 21 and 22) the space difference could only be 2 things. The new coils have not started sagging yet, or there is a different spring isolator above that he 22 coils. Like a spacer…???
  10. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

The coils on my truck are not stock. Those are the mopar 2” lift coils.
  11. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

if there is a part number for the frame on the 22 vs vs 21 I’d like to know if it changed
  12. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Yeah I agree. This is really important. Also I am wondering if the tubes are longer on the 21 because of interference issues somewhere between the axle and engine and that issue has been solved on the 22. I measured again and the total length is a tiny bit 1/8” at most longer than 6.25 the...
  13. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Either way, if your measurements are right that means there is really no fix besides a higher ride height for the 21’s.
  14. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

The metal tubes on mine measure at 6.25” I used a metal ruler touching the top of the spring perch the metal not the coil isolator (making sure I am measuring the entire length of the tube) camera was level when I took the pic.
  15. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

FYI I can confirm those are the same bump stop extensions I had in my Mopar 2" lift. I have since removed them in favor of the terraflex 1" extension. Which is about 5/8" shorter. I did this after measuring over and over, and found that on the 21 eco diesel because tubes up top are longer, and I...
  16. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

I really would like to understand that. I am curious about the tube length, was it cut back?
  17. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

If #JeepCares has any details on compensation for folks that have bought the Mopar Lift Kit, and installed it themselves (then had the dealer look it over and perform an alignment) I would appreciate that.
  18. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

You will be totally fine around town, but if you hit the forest service roads hard, you will find your bumps. It won't stop you.... I think really the issue is in the rebound rate of the shocks. I would love to find some shocks that have rebound / highspeed/lowspeed adjusters to try out.
  19. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

Ok update time. I spent hours tearing apart, putting back together, testing and tearing apart my jeep trying to sort this out. Here is my result. Do not put the metal cloak duro springs on the diesel gladiator with a mopar 2" lift. They are much longer than the stock ones, and when it's cold...
  20. Eco diesel Suspension bottoming out on normal roads

So I am curious, For those of you with the Mopar 2" lift installed in it's stock form. Do you still bottom out? I do in offroad situations with my swaybar disconnected, it's enough that it's still very annoying. I am going to add the following components to my Mopar 2" lift kit this weekend...
