For me I have had bad experience with offroad machines and oil based filters. I have clogged up 2 MAF sensors with K&N filters. Both instances I followed the instructions when oiling.
I went with the dry, with an additional mesh cover over the paper filter.
My 21 ecodiesel rubicon tows my 3500lb trailer on 35ā tires with a 2.5ā lift just fine.
I will say there are cooling limitations with it towing at high altitude in warm temps.
In fact have well over 20k miles of road trips with my camper.
Iāve derates 2 times, but never had any issues.
Iād find a way to lighten the JT by about a 1000lbs, there are engineering methods to continue to keep as much strength as possible.. this would lead to longer lifespan of nearly every driveline part.
I would also consider a forced induction v6 with ample cooling as people with JTās want better...
One was able to keep it (I think Rusty).
I had the advisor bring it to me and I pulled control valve on top, some small flakes were present on mine.
But the advisor told me they needed it and I couldnāt keep it.
along with the pump a few lines get replacedā¦
make sure those lines are replaced.
I monitor Regens using a 10 dollar OBDII Bluetooth dongle and an app on my phone.
just make sure you get the oil hot fairly frequently to help burn off fuel, and moisture in the oilā¦. Or change the oil a bit more frequently (or do a lab analysis of the oil)
I drove a mojove for a 7 weeks while my JTRD was in the shop.
The Mojove was nice, it was more road āworthyā and was a better handling jeep.
Once I got back in my JTRD, I quickly realized the Diesel, and the Rubicon was much better for me.
Iād see if the insurance could offer a settlement to...
The bump stop tubes are also longer which limits up travel by about 1.25āā¦. Easier to bottom out.
on my jeep I did the 2ā Mopar lift, and purchased some metal cloak bump stops but I trimmed them to make them shorter and heat sealed them. I no longer bottom out if hitting speed bumps too hard.
The diesels are the best. You will love it.
1. oil change with pensoil euro, do it a little early 7k or so.
2. Fuel Filter every oil change (also drain the cap) (water separator)
3. You donāt have to use an additive, but I like LX4 or EDT
4. Use only Mopar Branded Oil Filters, Fuel, and Air...
So they do not on the new pump, but it will run fine.
just use the full tank before 30 days, and use some biocide occasionally, also Iād add LX4.
Change your oil and filter at no more than 5k miles.
Hi there. I have a 2021 JTRD with the Mopar 2ā installed.
On the front I also added metal cloak pads, and a 1/2ā spacer on each side.
Today I installed an ARE CX topper, and the truck now squats an extra 3/4ā in the rear.
I have a set of Daystar 3/4ā poly spacers that I can install in the...
Thanks Shadows, You are right, although I imagine commonly Horse Power and CFM needed are closely correlated due to air fuel ratio's of gasoline engines not being extremely wide, and overall engine efficiency, diesels are different as many diesels do not even have throttle bodies, and the Air...
Yeah, based on that image, Iām betting it could be totaled, as the impact appears to have likely bent the frame / control arm mounts.
glad you were okā¦. I might invest in a dash cam nowā¦.
itās pretty hit or miss with the Chrysler cares service.
My Jeep was at the dealer for 7 weeks for the HPFP.
I didnāt bother with a rental⦠I borrowed wifeās carā¦
I did fight with them at the end and they gave me a 125k extended warranty, as well as 4 oil change credits for 150 each. So it...
Yeah I would imagine with the supercharger you might start to hit the limit of the stock air box. I imagine the stock airbox would flow 300ish HP, based on the filter size. My Stock Miata airbox will flow 230HP without any flow restrictions, so I didn't bother, on that vehicle.
The Ecodiesel...
After reading about them in depth, Iād prob avoid one on the one on the pentastar, as the intake noise isnāt all that great (my subjective opinion)
On the ecodiesel itās a different story. I have the S&B and Iām seeing 1.5-2MPG improvement so far with 2 tanks of fuelā¦.
I donāt think either...
