even at 24-25 you are 10 mpg over me for fuel that locally costs the same price.
Im not trying to say that diesel is all good and no bad, I'm just thinking it may benefit my style more than the gas. My whole thought was to make this truck sort of the "adventure" vehicle for my family, take some...
I think my short trips are whats getting me. That was one reason I didnt get diesel I knew those were bad for them. Its crazy the mpg difference between the models. People towing are getting better than what I am getting taking it easy. I just dunno.
I got the same during the winter really. I could post my fuel data. Its funny I have tried to ask folks about mpg but you really just get met with "you are gay. buy a prius." etc type comments. Ive always felt like it was pretty low and I was surprised honestly. I mean forget going with a bigger...
I really don't need any.
Remote start and hard top was all my Mojave had.
So I'd get hard top, diesel and tow package and that would be it.
I'm a simple guy.
I like manuals a bunch too but I really like the auto in this truck.
I find when i am easy on the gas 2nd gear throws real short and 3rd acts like 7nth.
but yeah the numbers would have to work out really well, there arent any diesels around here though, the salesman said "we can just build you...
oh its entirely possible my math is off. lol
Which part are you saying is incorrect? Basically I just tried to substitute diesel mpg into what the app had come up with for gas.
Ive driven my mojave 5,789 miles (it had some when I bought it, total 6113 miles) and I have logged every tank of gas through the FillUp app.
My avg statistics are as follows:
15.6 mpg
5789 miles driven, 827 per month
385.85 gallons of gas purchased, 55 per month.
$974 total cost, $139 per...
Ive been thinking of doing the same thing! :O
People say oil changes are more expensive, fuel and DEF fluids but so is re-gearing. My mojave is awesome and I love it but the mpg i expected a bit better (especially how easy I drive). Any tires bigger than stock and im going to be in the 12mpg...
ill just throw out there the LOD offroad sliders. They are sturdy as hell mount wise. The steps themselves are aluminum and you should get a skidplate that they sell to go on them. But they are great for a step. I wouldnt use them as a jack point or anything but some offroad abuse is reasonable...
