Is it needed to have a carrier bearing drop bracket, if I upgraded to an after market front drive shaft. I have a 4.5 lift. No vibration when driving but have it at idle. Was unaware if the angle it’s at could make the torque converter be off kilter. Thanks
When i turn my car to the run position it reads 12.2 volts on the dash. When i start the jeep it jumps to 14. While driving it stays around 12.6. Is this an issue? I have a low vibration at idle and im unsure if the alternator is shot or maybe something to do with charging the battery. Help. Thanks
My engine has a vibration and I’ve been trying to locate the source. I noticed one of the pulleys has black around the metal, unsure if it’s rubber from the belt or pulley. I wiggled and it has a little give. Is this the tensioner pulley? The small pulley upper left
When I come to a stop and my auto stop engages, my voltage shows 11.9. Does this mean one of the batteries is going low? When it kicks back on it goes to 14v
Could a down stream 02 sensor cause a rough idle? I don’t have any codes but counted more misfires on JScan on the right bank then the left cylinder 3 in particular having the most. I changed the upstream with no improvement. I saw there was a tsb for downstreams, but not sure if it can...
Has anybody had this issue? I pulled spark plug 3. No codes set but JScan was logging misfires (more then the other cylinders) the spark plug gap was totally closed. Is this from detonation? I’ve also read piston slap but don’t know if it can actually hit the plug. Any insight or help
Hey all. I have been monitoring misfires on cylinder 3. No code. Coil and cylinder plug are good. I want to check compression. I bought the kit. Can you please walk me through and what should the number be ?
Hey Gladiator Family. I was hoping time permitting if any of you could post videos of your engine running at idle just to see if there is any movement, trying to see if mine is normal operation, I have a little vibration. Thank you
Just wondering if everyone else gets a considerable amount of condensation dripping from the middle of the jeep at the muffler. I usually have a decent size puddle morning noon or night doesn’t matter the temperature outside.
Went to the dealer for vibration at idle no codes. It was there for 3 weeks. Said they wanted to inspect cams lifters etc. in the end said all was well and runs as designed. My engine sounds louder now or is it me? Could it need more oil after the valve covers were pulled? Also noticed next to...
I had my jeep looked at for a vibration at idle. They belive it’s the camshaft (surprisingly) and said it would be $1050 or $0 if covered by warranty. It’s a 22 with 26000 miles. My concern is I have a 4 inch lift kit. Could this void the warranty??
I have Raceline wheels and the wheel bore is 83.82 But I have rings that convert it perfectly to 71.5. The wheels have a cap on them that the shop says doesn’t allow rings. Is there a work around with this or just out of luck?
Yesterday I put on a steering stabilizer and the can end was shown towards the axel. I see a lot of videos online where the can is towards the wheel. I had crazy death wobble today for the first time after I put it on yesterday. Any advice on this
